Is anyone else not able to eat anything? I can't even keep crackers down. I don't know if I should be worried or not, but H is freaking out about me needing more calories.
Edited because words are hard.
I threw up like 57 times a day when I was pregnant with DS. I couldn't even take a sip of water without it coming back up. Nobody was worried about it, and it finally started to subside after first tri.

All caught up....
@mrsks I'm so sorry -- lots of hugs
Re Tula: I have one and barely used it with DS who is now 10m bc I fell in love with ring slings. I have 8 of them... I started to sell them off but the market is super slow and I don't really want to take the hit on them and then I found out I was pregnant so I'm holding on to them for now. Maybe choose some favorites and try to narrow it down during TAXmas. If you are on FB check out Vienna Springs BST there are a lot of beauties going for WAY less then retail. Like WAY. I will say that I do love Tula way more then Ergo, just more comfortable and prettier. Solly Baby has a great stretch wrap, but again my heart is with RS.
Re stuff for new baby: yea nothing. I'll need a crib for DS to go into and move him from the nursery into his big boy room across the hall but I have MORE then enough baby stuff with my oldest only being 3 with new baby arrives in July. I have a double city mini GT that I love. And Lily jade diaper bag is jam. I'm waiting on a preorder now to be delivered. Can not wait.

My two year old woke us up with an allergic reaction in the middle of the night last night. It was terrifying. Thankfully he seems to have bounced back pretty quickly and is acting ok today.

How scary! I'm so glad he is okay. Does he have any known allergies?

We know he's allergic to something but we don't know what. He's been through two rounds of skin prick tests and two rounds of blood work with no positive results. It's really frustrating.

I'm looking to get the city mini gt once this LO arrives since my DD will only be 2 when LO is born. Do you like the side by side vs tandem stroller? I've heard that the tandem strollers r just so long and hard to maneuver but I'm concerned about the wideness of a side-by-side.
Also, is it worth the extra $$ for the GT vs the regular city mini?
Also, since you're a RS pro... are all RS created equal? I've never used one but am looking at either a RS or the solly wrap for this LO. It seems to me that there aren't many variables amongst all the RS since it's literally just a piece of fabric. I don't wanna go splurging on a Tula RS if one from Walmart or target would do just fine.

Honestly, I think the tandem is weird. I mean I've never used one, but it just seems like once the tiny baby gets big enough one kid is always getting the shaft. With the side by side both seats are the same. I love the GT because of the wheels mostly, I also love the break is up at the top controlled with your hand and not at the bottom with your foot. Besides that they are pretty much the same, but those two things were worth it to me.
I will say that because I wore DS (DD is 18m older) I didn't use the double stroller for a long time. On walks or to the store I'd use my single (or shopping cart) and then just wear DS. I totally could have held off buying a double for months. When I did buy one I put it on an Amazon registry and watched it everyday and once the price dropped I used my completion coupon and wound up paying like $320 for it when it's normally priced at like $550. So keep your eyes out for deals. Esp Black Friday deals.
Rings slings aren't all equal bc there are about a million types of fabric. I wouldn't buy one at target, but I wouldn't buy a Tula RS either. Esp if you've never used a RS there is a learning curve and the material Tula uses (cotton woven blend) is pretty thick and requires breaking in.
I'd look into a linen Chambray, or a single layer linen. From Alabama with Love on Etsy makes inexpensive ones. Vienna Springs is slightly more expensive, but like I said the BST on Etsy is so slow you could prob get a good deal on something nice preowned. And there are a million colors to choose from. Sakura Bloom BST is also slow, but they are typically the most expensive.
surfmama106, thanks!! That was super helpful. The wheels on the GT is what's making me want it. I currently have a graco for DD and i haaaaaate the wheels. If I hit a single bump, the stroller comes to a complete halt. Its awful.
I'm planning on baby wearing a lot this go around again with this LO, but i'm concerned with this LO being due in July, it's going to be too hot to baby-wear while going for walks and whatnot. I'm sure i'll do a lot of baby wearing while shopping, but not for outdoors... which is what I really want the stroller for. I'm planning on waiting until the spring/summer to buy it from BRU and open up their credit card at the time which will save me 25% off (on Saturdays... other days its 15%). I'll have to watch for amazon too.
amylee545, if you are interested in babywearing definitely check and see if there's a local babywearing group near you. A lot of them have lending libraries and you can try some different carriers and fabrics to see what you like.
I have been sitting on the couch most of the day. I am just super bloated and tired. I am also just patiently waiting for my next ultrasound on Tuesday. Pgal brain is getting to me

FFSC: I bought stuff to make an EXTRA pumpkin pie this week because I need a whole one to myself that no one else is allowed to touch. And my grandma is getting too old to bake. And she always made me my own pie.
