Because we woke up 6 times last night. Kiiiillllll meeeee
My mother in law was going to come visit, but her dad isn't doing too well so she won't be coming for a while I think. She only lives 45 minutes away, but she normally comes for a few days every month to hang out and play with Ryan. It's also a nice break for me to have extra hands during the day and have someone to talk to. I've been missing her a lot and now that she cant come it upset me a lot. I won't tell her how bad I needed her to help out, because grandpa needs her more, but I'm really sad. I could have used the adult time.

Sorry for the change of plans and crappy sleep. I hope her dad is okay. I think it's great that you have such a good relationship with her, though. I hope she can come soon.
H set his alarm for an hour earlier today. It woke up everyone in the house while he slept through it. So I get a grumpy baby from wake up. Yay. And we forgot to get the stroller out of my car before H took it to work. Is 7:30am too early to ask for a redo?

But don't we drink coffee everyday???
DD's first top front tooth finally broke through a bit, so her sleep was better than Sunday night. Sunday night she was up just three times, but for about an hour each time. Oi.
But now she's got some wicked diaper rash from all this teething poop. I don't remember her bottom teeth being this bad/DS ever being this bad with teeth. It's exhausting.
Morning! We had a rough night at our house also. I don't think I posted this but last night before bed I noticed S felt a bit warm so I took her temp and it was 100.5 and on top of that it looked like she was getting the beginning of pink eye. I gave her Motrin and put her to bed. She woke up at 3a for the first time, screaming. She was definitely warmer so I took her temp and gave her more Motrin. I'm 99% sure she has another EI so in the middle of the night I scheduled her for a doctor's appt this morning at 10:30. She woke up with a goopy eye so I definitely think she had pink eye. Later today we have a guy coming out to do an estimate for drywall in the basement
Since my first trimester, I haven't had any bad migraines (one of the few joys of pregnancy). I've had a couple mini ones postpartum but nothing crazy. I knew they had to come back eventually though.
Welcome back, old friend. It's a (dis)pleasure to see you again.
H is frustrating me. He never carries a wallet anywhere, just his cards loose in his pockets. He messaged this morning saying he couldn't find his debit card. I searched high and low for it in the house then made some calls. Tracked it down to Walmart because we were there yesterday afternoon. But he needs his ID to claim it. And now guess what we can't find.
Also DS keeps waking at 5/5:30 lately. So tired.
I'm going to get my daily dose of caffeine and stop searching for H's stuff before I get really cranky

Not fun. My biweekly headache kicked in last night. Although thinking back I think this one was spaced further from the last compared to what they had been.
trtlcrzy Glad you got an appt so you can nip that in the bud right away. There's been pink eye going around here. DS's eye started to look a little pinky the other day so I gave him a couple doses of drops over the weekend and thankfully it didn't turn into anything.
I'm at work, have a semi busy day. But all I can think about is all the stuff I need to get done at home so I'm feeling very unsettled. I might go home over lunch and try to do some power cleaning or prepping for packing.

I would tell my H it was his responsibility to take care of his cards. Maybe he needs a wallet for Christmas, even just one of those clip ones.

We have terrible diaper rash here too. I gave DD 30 minutes of "air time" on a towel in my bathroom this morning.
All the pink eye.. I have to imagine that's near impossible to make a baby hold still for drops..
Hannah had it a couple times when she was a baby. You just put the drop in the corner of their eye and then when they open their eye it rolls in. I always did it during a diaper change so she was laying down anyways.

Someone on my fb friends list (actually, our old LC who I love) posted an article that cribs cause brain damage. Basically babies who sleep in cribs away from their mothers are stressed, and their brains are smaller.

All the eye rolls. And bad emojis. For real.
You know, for a 100% formula fed and full time crib sleeper I think I turned out pretty damn good.

I'm considering ordering a pizza for myself, for lunch. That's how today is going. The only thing keeping me from doing it is the fact that I don't have cash to pay for it and I don't want this secret mission to show up on our bank statement.
I'm sitting on my couch and looking around at all the things I need to clean. Is it frowned upon for a SAHM to hire a maid? Bc that's seeming like a rational move right now.

Either I gained some muscle or he's lost some weight since becoming mobile. He is suddenly much easier to lift over my head. I'm curious to see what he weighs tomorrow.

That happened to me for a few days last week, then he felt really heavy again.
I have DS with me today because HFM... technically he has no fever and just bumps, nothing open. So he could have gone to school. But ew. So we ran errands. One kid is so much easier than two. We did AC Moore for holiday stuff, and then Home Depot. And while he laid down and rested, I stripped all of the wallpaper off the bathroom walls. Perhaps I've been a bit over ambitious...
Double EI again, or still, I'm not sure. She's now on cedifinir for 10 days, let's hope this is the end. He said she may have viral pink eye but it looked pretty good so no drops for that. H was a terror while we were at the pedi and target so that was tons of fun. Thank goodness for nap time.
