*waves* hiiiiii krl52014 nice to "see" you! piperhalliwell I hope you feel better! And omg your SS is adorable. Love the obliterated kiwi What a good kid. trtlcrzy Happy bday H! The pic of FB is too cute. You can so see her face in her newborn pic! Love it.
DD is being sent home from daycare again. After a few mostly better days, her diarrhea has come back with a vengeance apparently. And she is refusing to sit on the floor (probably because of her terrible diaper rash) so her DCP has been holding her all morning.
Arrghh I'm so sorry. We had something like this before and it was brutal. Ended up laying a fluffy blanket down on the floor and let her go diaper-free. That blanket DEFINITELY needed a wash afterwards!

I have been giving her some air time on a towel in my bathroom every day. Obviously not something she can do at daycare so hopefully DH is letting her air out a bit this afternoon. Last night, DH referred to it as "free-balling." Um, she doesn't have the necessary parts for that.
Afternoon! Sorry for all the unpleasant messes, animals, sleep, etc. I had a crazy busy day yesterday and morning. DS had preschool pictures this morning so I just brought him for that quick (didn't stay for preschool) and then we packed up and left town. We are about 2.5 hours into our 6.5-7 hour drive. We stopped for lunch and are heading back on the road now. So far so good, hopefully it continues that way.
I was so disorganized. I finally booked us a hotel room about an hour ago. It has a waterpark. Also on the agenda for the weekend is the Children's Museum, Paw Patrol Live, and a special fishing store for DH. I'm just along for the ride I guess! 😩

It's supposed to snow tonight into tomorrow. It always has to snow either the day of H's party or the day before I hope everyone can still make it. Guess I need to dig out my winter coat finally.

Happy Birthday to H!! 🎈🎈🎈 Hope the party goes well!
Random issue. Somehow babe has a big scratch on his butt. Idk if I caught him or the velcro from a diaper or something, and it's superficial, nothing major, but still, on his butt cheek where it gets covered in poop. I've been applying neosporin over the cut and then his usual butt cream over all. Any other ideas to minimize discomfort and potential poop invasion?

How much snow are you supposed to get where you're going chocolate? North and east of here it looks like a blizzard warning, but it doesn't show much of mn on the map I looked at.

I think it's supposed to be more of a rain/ice thing where we are going, but I haven't looked af the weather today. At home it kind of fizzled out and was basically all south of us and spreading over into MN.

Probably not much else than what you are doing and changing often!
trtlcrzy looks like noon-9 tomorrow is their warning with 1-3 inches of snow.
I think we might do the children's museum tomorrow morning and then if we need to hunker down at the hotel we can do waterpark stuff the rest of the day.
ETA looks like it'll be raining all morning though. So that's where the ice comes into play. Thankfully MN uses salt.
I picked up L at daycare and she has 2 teeth! No teeth yesterday. Somehow they sprouted between when I put her to bed last night and now. With minimal drama so I'll take it

maybe that's why she slept so much the other night! G gets super tired and sleeps a bunch before her new teeth appear, it's hard work growing teeth. SaveSave

We were gonna take DS to paw patrol this wknd for his bday but when I tried to get tickets there wasn't the number of seats we needed together that we needed!

They don't do salt here, just sand. Lame!
The sand instead of ice blew my mind when living in VA. So much sand tracked into our chapter house.

Oh bummer! We bought our tickets on pre-sale forever ago. We haven't even told DS about it yet, I'm excited to see his reaction!

Yeah just sand for us too. Barely. They'll push a tish down at an intersection but otherwise you're driving on packed ice and snow all winter. I much prefer the salt.

DD has a new tooth. So I guess that is why she was so miserable at daycare she was sent home. This is the second time this has happened. She has both of her top fangs now. I hope I can get a picture before the front teeth come out.

Liked for the fang image, not the sick kiddo Poor girl! I hope it gives her a break now!
lilrubberduckie she also slept almost 3 hours at DC today! It would be super ironic if having teeth come in caused her to STTN, haha. Whatever though, I'll take it!
Disney on ice was so fun! They did lion king, Peter Pan, little mermaid and frozen. The Peter Pan part got kind of long but aside from that it was so good! H had fun and now doesn't want to go to sleep.
Alright. I have zoos, parks, dog parks, museums, and restaurants plotted out at each stopping point along our drive. We might actually be able to pull this off without too many issues. I've got us driving during typical nap times, plenty of outside time for both dog and baby, and getting everywhere on time. Eta, the next problem is figuring out how I'm going to keep breastmilk frozen for the trip..
