I got excited for a minute. We had an ok night for Magoo, 2 wake ups only but my damn cat was meowing all night! She's such a pain in the ass. So the 5:30 wake up I was nursing and she walked into the nursery meowing loudly and got him all riled up. He went back to sleep but it wasn't restful and woke up at 6:15 because he pooped now naps will be all thrown off unless I can keep him awake as long as possible this morning (I still blame the cat) Dh got up and was brushing his teeth and she was annoying him so he picked her off the counter to put her down and she took my makeup bag with me. RAGE

I thought today was Wednesday this am. Luckily DH reminded me it's not.
I feel ya about the cat, kellybenelly83. We have one like that too. We've ended up having to lock her out of the bedroom areas because she would keep coming in at 1 am meowing endlessly. She only started doing it a few yrs ago after her littermate sister passed away. I think she's still looking for her.
I can. not. get this kid to sleep past 5:30 am. Doesn't matter what time I put him to bed, he wakes at the same damn time every single day. Seeing this is how it's been for the past 5 months, I guess it's habitual. I'm so over it.

I have had tea so I am calmer. But if she puts a paw out of line today I cannot be held responsible. I miss my cuddly (quiet) cat. Magoo is at daycare. I pity her, he's been up a while and is probably pretty crabby. Now the game will be to keep him up til 9

Cat issues here too.
It was my night to do the baby daycare laundry. Basket sitting on the kitchen floor while I was making dinner. Cat jumps in (I've caught him sleeping in there previously ... booo biggie). Then he STARTS PEEING. While I was right there, so fortunately I yelled at him to stop before he got too far, but WTF cat?
And then the other cat spent the evening leaving puke presents around the house for me.
DH and I are pretty done with cats, but our youngest is only 3 (puker older one is 9). MH wants to make them outside cats. I don't know that I want to go that far. Just so tired of the cat nonsense.
Hi ladies! I hope you don't mind that I check in randomly and not often. Today we don't have many plans. We will probably go get groceries and do a little Xmas shopping this afternoon. I have been really trying to stay on top of it so I'm not rushing around last minute tonight I will be going to zumba. DD2 just started crawling last weekend so life has been getting more interesting around here! I'm debating putting up a Xmas tree this year. I had one up when DD1 was 7 months and crawling all over so I'll probably put it up
The highs are 43 today and tomorrow. I'm kind of excited about it. We are going to baby story time at 11:30 if everything goes according to plan. Win woke up 3x last night. Better than 4 I guess.
I fell asleep on the couch at 8:30 last night because stupid sickness is killing me slowly.
L has her 9 month appointment this afternoon, so I'm leaving work at 11:30. I can't decide whether to be productive while I'm home with her, or nap while she naps.
Also, I need to AW my SS. Since the time change, he has been waking up with the sun around 6am. Instead of lollygagging around, he has gotten up, gotten himself dressed, eaten breakfast, and "made" breakfast for my DH. This morning he microwaved pancakes and obliterated a kiwi with a butter knife, but the effort he is putting in to doing something sweet for his dad warms my heart.

X is waking up earlier and earlier. He wasn't even waking up this early after the time change! So the semi-decent nap schedule we were getting into is all screwed up. Plus, I'm worried he's not sleeping enough now. He used to sleep between 11-12 hours a night. Now he's sleeping 9:30-10. I guess we need to bump his bedtime earlier... but I don't get home from tutoring until 8 2 nights a week. This was fine when he was sleeping until 7:30! Can't you just go back to sleeping until 7, man?
I'm making pumpkin muffins today. Who posted them yesterday? kellybenelly83 ? I blame you.

Yes it was me! I'd suggest a few alterations: add walnuts to the mix (I wanted to but can't eat them just yet) and sprinkle the tops with sugar before baking(if you aren't Sharing with X that is)

Seriously how do you exclusive pampers do this?? I'm trying to get R used to the sippy cups for daycare and so I'm pumping feeds and letting him that that before naps, then I pump what I would have fed. This is so much work! I find this way longer and tougher than breastfeeding

DS is napping in his stroller. We had to get up early to go into the city today. I miss living here, but I got to go see the holiday windows that the department store has up and I'll get to go through a couple of new stores that opened and browse. I'm supposed to go see a play tonight but I'm coughing so we'll see - if I'm coughing a lot I don't want to be that person that everyone else is like wow you're distracting and probably a bundle of germs, why are you even here.

Can you try just offering water in the sippy cup to get him used to the cups? That's what I'm doing. Also DS still throws his 360 cup on the ground some and water does come out, DNW to waste breast milk lol

I do offer water, it's more getting him used to napping without a boob. He drinks from sippy cups while snacking and eating meals, but before morning nap it's always boob and starting soon that won't happen. I figure naps without boob here then naps at daycare is a better transition than just naps without boob there. I'm just giving props to you girls who pump. It's a lot of work!

Morning! My H is 3 years old today! How did this happen? she was just born yesterday, I swear! We have a very fun, busy day ahead of us. I'm taking H to skyzone to jump, then noodles for lunch, then nap, then to get a cupcake, and then to toys r us for a small toy. After that we will eat pizza for supper (her favorite) and then Disney on ice!
Last night S pretty much refused to go to sleep. I finally got her to sleep at like 10:30. She woke up an hour later screaming. I tried nursing her but every time I would lay her down she'd scream so hard and hold her breath which freaked me out. So we hung out in the steamy bathroom for a while. I finally got her to sleep after midnight. Poor girl.

Pumping is definitely more work. But there's also no biting and such. Pros and cons on both ends.
We have a busy schedule today. C has her thanksgiving "show" at school this afternoon. She's been adamant that she can't sing the songs for me until the show. If only she listened to me as well as she does her teacher... After school we are going to GMILs to help her decorate for Christmas with all of H's cousins and their kids. I put the ggkids names on little $1 stockings and have stuff for them to decorate them with to put up in her house. I also got a bunch of little $1 felt ornaments they can make. I'd much rather lead craft time to occupy the kids than help pull trees and decor from the attic lol. My GMIL goes ALL OUT for Christmas (and Hanukkah since step-GFIL is Jewish) and their house is ginormous. I'll have to post pics when it's done bc it is crazy.

Morning!! Happy birthday to your big girl trtlcrzy!
It's my Friday today because I have friends coming into town from tomorrow-Monday. Can't wait for them to meet my little tornado. Super excited to have two 4-day weekends in a row.
Add me to the cat annoyance club. Our baby gate at the top of the stairs has a pet door but I've begun closing it for baby bedtime because otherwise the cat just barges into the room while I'm nursing and meows juuuuuuuust far enough that I can't reach him. Jerk.

We had to put our cat who's been a house cat for probably 8 years outside and it's been about a year now. He was peeing in the same spot on the carpet and in the clothes basket occasionally. He does really good and sticks around. Basically sits by the front door or comes and hangs out with us if we're outside. DH doesn't like it but I leave the garage door cracked for him to go in there when it's really cold. I felt really bad doing it but I cannot deal with cat pee smell, it is horrid.

DD is being sent home from daycare again. After a few mostly better days, her diarrhea has come back with a vengeance apparently. And she is refusing to sit on the floor (probably because of her terrible diaper rash) so her DCP has been holding her all morning.

Poor girl. H had a diaper rash like that once, screamed if you tried to set her down. Give her a bath with some baking soda dumped in, lots of naked butt time and max strength butt cream.
This kid eats way better than I do. In the past week, he has had: apple, banana, strawberry, peach, pear, pumpkin, grape, plum, squash, zucchini, carrot, sweet potato, green bean, potato, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, chicken, beef, lentils, spinach, eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, peanut butter, cheese, all the regular things. I have had, like, 5 of those things, and a lot of cereal, and wine, and chocolate, and red lobster cheddar biscuits (from a box).
