I have to see this @badwolf321 !!! I'll google it shortly.
Now that we're in the thick of things I'd say I could not live without the A&A muslin blankets, prob my one go to item.
Besides those, I also have this convertible onesie (made by Carters) that is a dream. It's a one piece button down pant"suit", but you can rearrange the snaps at the bottom to go from pants (good for car seat) to gown (good for everything else including MOTN diaper changes).
The Rock n Play is hard to recommend just yet because he likes it but she never really seems to enjoy it.
I also love gowns and especially the convertible ones. (On that note, the gowns/outfits with magnetized closures--as opposed to snaps--are cute/smart in theory but not IRL. Magnets do not stay closed).
We bought a vibrating seat for this baby; so easy to move around the house and she seems to like it. How did I not have one with DS?!
I had not see these convertible outfits hmm. I do love gowns at night though! LizInFL I had never heard of magnet closures that sounds ridiculous! I can't imagine they stay closed.
And oh the windi.... Yeah big nope on that one.
I also love my A&A swaddle blankets and my plain cloth diaper burp cloths. Oh and my boppy.
Lillian did not like being swaddled, but Lilah does! We have the swaddle me sleep sacks in size 0-3m and they are so easy to use. Much easier than using a blanket for me. I have 2 bigger ones that we'll use later, too. She also loves the swing just like her sister did.
I definitely side eyed the windi when Lillian was a baby. But I can see how if nothing else worked you might try it.
Re: the windi...gets less disgusting the more hours in a row your baby is miserable. It's really not that bad.
Yes people said similar things to the nose Frida to start too. Did it work?
Eta: I don't think it's that gross, but I probably wouldn't put my face right there. That seems like you are asking for a poop fascial.
It does!! Would never ever ever put my face in front of it though. Never.
In full disclosure my first big kid job was taking care of residents in a nursing home, which included cleaning them up after going to the bathroom and changing adult diapers. So these baby poops don't faze me in the slightest. I have to remember that most people (my H) aren't desensitized to getting hit with a poop blowout. It's just poop.

I'm kind of upset to say that I haven't found my miracle go to product. I bought everything. No joke, my house is a mini BRU. M is content with my arms and the boob. I guess I'm a fan of Butt Paste? The k'tan is nice, but I don't feel like there's enough support to actually get stuff done with two hands. I have a moby wrap that I need to practice with, but it just seems super difficult.

Honestly, I think at this stage they mostly just care about eating, sleeping, and being held/feeling safe. Aside from the swing because it's the only place she'd sleep, I didn't find stuff I loved with Lillian until she was older and doing stuff. I bet as M gets older you'll find your miracle product(s).
sophiegrace don't feel bad that you haven't found that one miracle product! Things change so quickly with these kids that one day something will work great for you and the next your kid will hate it. I have a lot of go to products that we like over here, but I wouldn't say anything is life changing.
Oh I was gifted and oball (baby toys line) and really like it. M's OT said it was her favorite baby toy because it's lightweight and basis van hold it very early on.
Bradley LOVED his oball. I remember when we got it, we were at Target and he started fussing so I picked one up just to give him something to hold--instant hit. We lost it at some point, will definitely be replacing for C.
Love my Boppy. A good BFing pillow is a must for me.
I also love prefolds; we have a ton of them from the days of my failed CD adventure with DS but they serve so many purposes and are especially good as burp cloths.
I'm not sure anything else is a miracle for me at the moment. All kids are different and I'm still in the trial and error phase with this one. Last night we tried the swaddle me sleepsack and I liked it though it didn't stop her from only wanting to be on my chest to sleep. Also I don't thought the velcro was super loud when I was trying to change her.
This is kind of a silly one but I am really enjoying a new lotion I tried (for C) by a company called Noodle and Boo. I have always used good ol' J&J products, but I got some samples of this from my favorite saleslady at Dillards. The lotion is AMAZING. Fragrance is light but smells really good, and it leaves your skin so soft. I am buying a bottle for C's stocking. (It's for her, I swear )
sophiegrace the Moby is really great once you get the hang of it.
I keep pulling it out of the box staring at it and the instructions then quickly put it back away. Hopefully I can practice this weekend when H is home. I think after the learning curve I'll like a lot.
waitwhat are you using the newborn insert in the Ergo ? I have one but haven't used bc I don't have the insert. I think you can use a blanket rolled, but gave never tried it.
I've been using a clothe wrap (similar to a moby), Boppy, and vibrating chair. Also just pulled out my jj cole car seat cover and was not worried about her warmth yesterday on errands!

I haven't used the ergo with this baby yet. I used it with DS all the time. Around the house, every time I ran errands. So far I've only been using the ktan. Once this baby gets to the appropriate weight (12 lbs I think?) I'll use the ergo since I don't have the newborn insert.
Got it, that's what I was planning too. Was wondering if you had a review of the newborn insert. I'll probably just wait it out.

The Boppy - have to have it every time I breast feed Rock and Play - only place we can lay him for and extended period of time where he will sleep Carters Swaddle Blankets - we use these to swaddle him at night. I got these 2nd hand and they have been a life saver. I need more!

I use the infant insert, and once I watched a video of how the baby was supposed to be positioned, it went very smoothly (I used the Ergo all the time with kid 4, and I've been using it a fair amount with this LO already). I actually prefer my Tula, but I don't have an infant insert for that, so I've just been biding my time with the Ergo until he's ready for the Tula.
