Happy thanksgiving! and a happy Thursday to the international ladies! I have to work today so no big family feast for me. My sister is supposed to bring me a plate of food this evening for supper. DH & the kids are going to his aunt's house for the big meal later.
Babe was up all throughout the night because of a stuffy nose. He'd fall asleep and then catch snot in his throat and freak out and cry. So at about 2, I decided enough was enough and I propped myself on pillows with him on my chest, and that's how we slept. I should say "slept," because there wasn't a lot of actual sleeping. He's still all runny today. I hope he's not getting a cold. I also noticed this morning that he cut his 4th tooth. Not the other top one - that one is taking its sweet time, but I expect that one to cut in the next couple days. This one is on the bottom, next to his middle two.
Happy thanksgiving all! And happy Thursday I'm going to cheese out here for a second and say I'm really grateful for all of you. Having a wonderful group of mamas to commiserate and celebrate and vent and laugh with over the last year (and a half! Wow!) has been so important. I hope you all have a wonderful day! ❤️ Also, my friend had her baby this morning. 8lbs 10oz of cheeeeeky sweet squishy newborn. Both are doing so well and I get to visit tomorrow morning to soak up new baby snuggles. I'm also grateful for my IUD today, haha.

I have cramps and spotting. I think I'm getting my period. I have lots of feels about it. 1. I thought I would be excited because yay more babies! 2. But I kind of feel sad because it's like I'm no longer post partum and my baby isn't a little baby anymore. 3. Yay because my PCOS-ridden ovaries are working?

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all (y'all!?) had a good day! Our day went very smoothly and lots of good food was had. Kids were bathed and I'm ready to relax now.
Also you're all making me want to go back and watch GG all over. I watched it some but not religiously, but I might need to do it now.

Same re: GG. I don't really have a lot of time to do it though.

I'm exhausted, but it's been a good day. We prepped until 2am this morning and then baby got me up at 7am to get started up again. It was a great day of food and family, but omg I'm so exhausted and ready to hide in my introvert hole right now. Counting down the minutes until it's socially acceptable to hide.

Definitely not much time for it. All of the episodes of This is Us are still sitting on my dvr....
I just checked in a patient and her DH/BF/whatever smelled like straight weed. Good times
This reminds me...when I was in Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago I came out of the Christmas aisle into the main walking aisle and totally smelled pot. Without a doubt, very noticeable. I looked around, but it was mainly older women (like around our moms age) and maybe some gals around our age in the store but nobody that I could have noticeably placed. Guess you can't judge a book by its cover?!

I think we finally have a tooth! Feel something sharp on the bottom, and there was lots of drooling and chewing today. We will try to get a glimpse tomorrow!

I have heard that the demographic most likely to regularly use pot is middle aged white women.

My mom totally smokes pot...has since the 70s probably.
Apple pie baked inside a white cake, stacked on top of a pumpkin pie baked inside a spice cake, stacked on top of a cherry pie baked inside a devil's food cake. With whipped cream frosting.

My MIL experimented in her younger days and has said if pot was legal she would probably be smoking it.
Huh, that is probably not something I would go for. I like my pies separate thank you very much. How was it?
I'm not usually a pie person generally because I don't like crust. But baking the crust inside cake made it very soft. I do really appreciate the mixing of flavors so I really liked that aspect of the cherpumple.
