I'm going to check online for deals for things I planning to buy anyway, but the only shopping we are leaving the house for is Home Depot - we are ordering a carpet installation, trying to make our basement family room more baby friendly and comfortable. I also want to get a new stove, maybe. I know people have strong feelings on gas vs electric stoves - anyone have thoughts on why one is better than the other?
I am wondering if C may be teething. He's not very drooly, but he has been biting while nursing which I've noticed he's done when he's been teething before. It's really not fun Plus he was up a ton last night and woke up crying each time.

geners Gas is a more even heat I think. I've had gas for so long. The community we want to move to is electric only. That is going to be weird! Do you have a gas line behind your range currently?
We got the baby's Christmas gift last night. A vtech ride on train thing. We have a car that's sort of similar and she loves it. It was half price. I decided I'm going to cheat a little with the baby's gifts and give her all the family gifts so I can stretch the budget a bit. She doesn't care!! Right?!
I woke up this morning still stuffed. I made a whole apple pie yesterday and didnt even touch it until lunch today. Yummy!

Well I have been shopping like crazy online. I basically bought the kids entire winter wardrobe. If I didn't have a 4 year old hovering around me I'd be doing toy shopping as well. H went out and got us both new cell phones and a ham for our 2nd thanksgiving tomorrow. Because we need more food.
We put our tree up this morning and all of our Christmas decorations. Well, everything I'm willing to part with should it break. We will hopefully get the outdoor lights up tonight. Whew.
Putting up the tree really drove it home that the baby is going to be one. Made me want another baby!
Also, she is mostly uninterested in the tree. She didn't even acknowledge its presence until we put lights on it and then she spent some time touching the branches and yelling and that was it. We basically put no ornaments on the bottom of the tree. She hasn't notices the tree skirt yet.
I bought M a couple of things from Baby Gap since it was 50% off.
Tomorrow he gets his first haircut and this mom is super sad. We also need to get our lights up outside. It's been super cold and is supposed to be 58* tomorrow. Perfect for light hanging. I want to get the tree up and finish my inside decorating this weekend as well.
geners, team gas all of the way! It us such a more even a d easily controlled heat. Do it!!
geners, I love a gas range, however for baking i prefer an electric oven... my dream house will have a big gas range and separate electric/convection ovens
