My first appointment is Wed. I'm so nervous/excited.
Is everyone's SO going to try to go to every ultrasound? MH can make this one, but his work schedule can change from day to day and may not be able to make them all.
DH is going to try to come next week. He has court almost everyday so it's not like he can just skip out... I'll make sure to schedule the big ones when he can go. Honestly he makes me nervous when he's there. Not sure why...

Last time MH went to the dating US and the anatomy scan. I did the NT scan by myself.

My dating ultrasound is on Wednesday!I am very excited but it feels a bit surreal still despite the all day nausea. My DH is coming. Last time he was able to go to this scan but missed the NT scan and the anatomy scan so this time he is hoping to be present at all scans.
MrsRC-33, MrRC-37. TTC#1 since 2/13. DX: T2 diet controlled diabetic, removed multiple fibroids blocking tubes, via robotic myomectomy, hysteroscopy and D&C on 5/15. CD3 b/w normal. HSG normal after surgery. On the bench April-June 2015. NTNP indefinitely. Loss mentioned.

I think DH is going to try to go to my first appointment, and probably the anatomy scan, but other than that... It depends on if he can get off work. I may have to go every two weeks from the get-go since I'm diabetic, but maybe this OB/GYN has a different opinion, so every appointment/ultrasound may be difficult.

My husband is going to tomorrow's appointment because it's the first ultrasound, but also because I switched doctors and he wants to meet her.
This may be an UO, but I don't think it's necessary for your husband to go to every appointment / ultrasound. It's nice if he can, but if his work schedule doesn't allow it, it's no big deal either.

My DH went to every appointment with my DD, but couldn't do that with DS. My son was high risk -- placenta previa; SCH; and then I had gestational diabetes -- which earned me a bunch of extra U/S, as well as NTTs and stuff. At one point, I was going every two weeks for an U/S. And then at the end of my pregnancy, my doctor had me going in 2x a week. It just wasn't feasible for my husband to go to all of those appointments.

Oh yeah I wouldn't think he'd be able to make all of those either. I'm sorry you had a rough pregnancy. That's a ton of appointments!

I had GD also. I was doing NST twice a week and an ultrasound every other. I think my hubs made it to one of each... just to check it out. But I don't think anyone could expect their SO to make it to all those. I struggled fitting them around work myself! Haha.

I have my dating u/s on Thursday! I'm so excited to find out my due date. Not having a clue if it's the beginning of July or the end is killing me! With my other pregnancies I knew the date of conception.
As for MH going to appointments he will go to the anatomy scan. Other than that he won't go until the very end appointments.

I had my dating ultrasound yesterday and it went well 😄 baby measuring 7w6d (spot on from LMP) heart rate 158. I didn't realize I didn't hear it though until I left. She showed me but we didn't listen. Now I want to listen.
The tech also said "it's a girl heart rate!" Which made me roll my eyes but also now I'm super curious what sex this baby is!

I don't think it's necessary other, but there are a few that I need his support just in case. I just couldn't have functioned after getting the MMC news if I was there by myself. So I will never not have him there at the first appt.

I totally understand that. My DH always comes to the first ultrasound for the same reason (I've had several CPs). I felt like maybe the OP was worried / upset that her husband couldn't make it to every appointment, and was just trying to say that he shouldn't feel guilty or terrible or whatever if he can't be at every appointment. I have a friend who always makes me feel bad that my husband doesn't go to every appt like her husband does. I didn't want Op to feel that way.
