B is not very into them. I know I have to keep trying stuff, but I need more ideas of stuff to try I guess.
Dislikes: Eggs, applesauce, cottage cheese, yogurt, blueberries, mandarin oranges, grape tomatoes, plums (allergic)...I'm sure there are more, but this all my mom brain can remember right now.
Likes: Broccoli, black olives, pickles, pears, apples, bell pepper (sometimes), most meats we've tried, banana (iffy)
And be careful what you say...I said I would NOT feed store bought baby food. After spending time & money to make my own, then B not eat it; I've broke down & tried a few of the store ones.
When she does eat solids, it's a very small amount too.

So, W hates eggs, however, he likes them with cheese. So maybe you could try that. Some of this sounds like texture issues, which can change from day to day. On your applesauce, do you put cinnamon in it? That might help change the flavor and overcome the texture.

We aren't really pushing solids, C will always have a bit of whatever we are having when possible and if it's not possible she gets some mixed frozen veggies. It's nothing to worry about if they still aren't that into solids, just keep trying! Are you looking for ideas of new things to try?

How often do you offer solids?
I have tried cinnamon, but it didn't help.
I know I'm part of the problem; I need to be offering solids more often. I need to get over the mess vs. quantity ingested. But most of the time it feels like it's a total waste of time & energy. #lazymom #messyfoodmakesmeanxious

I get it. I'm basically the same way. Messy food is nerve wracking.

Have you tried hardboiled egg? It's a different texture so it might help. Or make French toast or something. String cheese in bites, I put applesauce on toast to make it not as messy, maybe a thin layer wouldn't be so offensive to her? Or a thin layer of peanut butter or almond butter on toast?
For us she was barely eating anything until like a little more than a week ago and then all the sudden it was like a switch flipped and now she eats a ton and if she doesn't get solids seems hungry if she doesn't get them.

I would more ideas and foods to try!
I saw you mention that you are lazy. Life twin. We do various frozen vegetable mixes as I mentioned. Clementines. Pasta/ravioli. Cheese cubes. Deli meat. I don't ever spoon feed her, we pretty much only do foods she can finger feed herself. Brussel sprouts, green beans, broccoli. Whatever we are eating. Toast.
I am a total mombie today so sorry that was discombobulated but I hope it made sense and maybe gave you some new ideas!
Lo wants to feed himself now. He has been on a solid strike for about 2-3weeks, but is coming around. He enjoys eggs (scrambled or hard boiled). We tried yogurt and he is not sure if he like it. We tried frozen veggies, peas and carrots, and he likes that he can grab for them. I gave him mashed potatoes and turkey on thanksgiving and he liked both. I have given him rice and he seems to like it. We've tried toast too. So we are experimenting. He hates bananas.

I'm gonna try the applesauce on toast. I gave it to him dry and he as ok with it. But I like the idea of adding something so its not so dry.
We do a lot of pouches. Not helpful. He does get some table food though. He likes eggs, cheese, bread, pasta, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, chicken, turkey, hamburger. I've been relying more on the pouches for fruit and veg. I suppose I should start giving him more non pureed versions.

this is us. Mainly pouches and yogurt. Oatmeal for breakfast. Table food occasionally to try it out. I feel like I should be doing more "real" foods.
Also LOs tummy is officially better thank goodness. We already re-introed eggs and she was fine. Now we can redo dairy, soy and gluten and see if she has any more reactions. We will prob do soy last bc that was the only one she hadn't had before she had the reaction. So in my mind it 's the most likely, although the doctor more thought dairy but said to do yogurt first and then f that doesn't give a reaction try other dairies. Yogurt has less or no lactose I guess.
So E is an eating machine. She eats 3 meals a day plus 1-2 snacks. We don't do purees. She eats pretty much whatever we eat. Some ideas
Sweet potatoes Hard boiled eggs Zuchinni Peas Any pasta Toast Grilled cheese Meatballs Crackers, deli meat, cheese Peanut butter Hummus Chicken noodle soup (without the broth) Cantaloupe Sausage Pancakes Cheese and broccoli bites (super easy to make, cheese, cooked broccoli, bread crumbs, egg, mix and bake)
C is also an eating machine. She eats everything in sight except bananas. Hates them and spits them out. Weirdo will eat bell pepper and steak but not banana.

K eats almost anything I offer but like 95% of it does not actually get into her stomach, most ends up on the floor or spit out after gnawing on it for a bit, or mushed in ALL of the places. If I give purees, the food actually ends up in her stomach.
blackbird, Just curious, but how did you know she was allergic to the plums? That seems like the most random food to be allergic to. Also, the foods you listed, are you giving them to her in puree form or solid form? It seems by your list of dislikes that she doesn't like creamy textures.

I made her a plum & apple puree, which she reacted to. She had apples multiple ways before & no issue.
I only listed the solids. We do purees too & most have gone over well. And I agree on the 95% of solids end up mushed in the seat, etc & puree actually gets in her stomach. You could have a point on the texture.

So we do mostly purees during the daytime for DC. When I send solids (fruit, cheese, veggies) she barely eats any. At dinner, I just give her some pieces of what we have and if she eats it great, if not then we try again the next day. I've found success in putting some food on the end of my fork and feeding her that way. She'll usually eat it.
Have you tried meats? K goes nuts for ham, bacon, chicken, fish, steak, practically any meat. She'll usually just suck on it and then spit it out after a bit, but she loves the taste and it's good to get her used to the texture. I stay away from the meat purees because the thought makes me gag. Beechnut makes a chicken curry and a macaroni and meat sauce one that I get. I try to give her a wide variety of tastes (thai, indian, mexican) and she hasn't had a problem with spicy things either.

Yea B has loved almost all the meats she's tried. Meats & broccoli she can't get enough of. She also likes garlic flavored things.

I would try putting garlic on a lot of food she doesn't like and see what happens. Maybe it's like ketchup to her. lol
We got another hit. I tried to DIY the yogurt melts which was an epic fail, so I took the mix (WF Greek yogurt and fruit and kale blended together) and churned it in the ice cream machine, then used a cookie scoop to freeze individual mini scoops and LO loves it! Also it's pretty tasty for not having any added sugar in it.
