I need a relatively cheap/lightweight umbrella stroller for walks and possibly bus trips. She's getting too heavy to carry her long distances on my front and I haven't figured out back carries yet.
Do you have one that you like? Any recommendations? Anything I should look for or avoid?
I was going to just get a really cheap one and call it a day, but I think I want one with a canopy because it rains so much in the winter. Thoughts?

We have a Maclaren Uppababy that our neighbors gave us as a hand me down. It gets great reviews, so we're probably doing something wrong, but it's just NOT intuitive for how to open and close it, so the handful of times we used it, it pissed me off.

We have this Chicco umbrella stroller. I think it's a little pricey, but felt sturdier than some of the cheaper ones. I still don't love it, but I think it would be the same with any umbrella stroller. I only used it once or twice with DS. It gets used a lot more now with DD. www.amazon.com/dp/B005JHH1VK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6CjqybKSXJTRA
@led, if Blake will be using it make sure it's tall enough to be comfortable for him. We had a cheapy umbrella stroller before we bought the Summer Infant one and MH wouldn't use it because he had to stoop over to push it.

I have a Valco Snap 4 which I love with a huge canopy but it isn't a budget friendly choice.
Is that even an umbrella stroller, though? It looks like it folds flat in the one shitty picture I could find.
Yes, sorry, you're right. It does technically fold flat instead of long like a real umbrella stroller. I ended up with it when I researched umbrella strollers. It was highly recommended. But not what you are looking for if you need it to fold lengthwise.

I liked how big the canopy was and how flat out laid down. We went to BRU to check them all out and that was my favorite. I wanted grey so we ordered on Amazon, but it should be here Monday. Can't wait to go on all the walks!!!
