Has anyone dropped down to two naps a day yet? Are your babies on a consistent schedule? Really hoping to make life easier by getting these guys on a morning/afternoon nap cadence but not sure how realistic that is at 6 months!

Lol. The only nap I can anticipate somewhat predicably is one starting between 9:30-10. (He wakes up around 8.) Today I must have hit the jackpot window, because he slept 2.5 hours! Then he wouldn't nap the rest of the day, naturally. But some days he'll also have an afternoon nap. His evening "nap" is usually 20-30 minutes on my boob around 6. Bed by 8:30.
He takes 25-30 minute naps at daycare. Three of them if they're lucky. Not nearly enough.
He wakes up around 6 (+/- 1 hour), naps at 8-9:30, nap 12-1:30, nap sometime in the afternoon depending on what toddler activity we have going on or in the ergo while I'm cooking dinner.

An ideal schedule is wake between 6-7, nap 9-10, nap 12-1 or 2, nap 3-4. Bed at 7.
How often does that happen? Rarely. At daycare they frequently only give her 2 naps and she's a mess by 5. A lot of times on weekends she naps on the go so it's either less frequent than she needs or shorter, more frequent naps.
First one is predictably around 9 unless she's up before 630. After that it's seriously every 2.5 hours and then naps are usually like 30 mins long. Zero predictability.

She consistently gets two naps, if we are home sometimes a third cat nap. If I have a lot going on with the toddler there are a lot of small car/ergo naps.
No nap schedule here. The only one I can kind of predict is one around six while I'm making dinner. There is usually one in the morning too but no set time.
We are at two or three. She has to follow the toddler's lead. When we are home and she takes a long morning nap, she just takes two. If we are out we get short naps and tend to have three.
DD wakes up around 6 and goes to bed around 6:30 or 7. She takes just 2 naps per day most days now. Sometimes she'll take a third one, but not often and it kind of screws bedtime up. Her naps range from 45 min-2 hours. She tends to nap pretty well at home, but not so well when we're out and about.
At daycare C naps on a schedule. Usually a quick 20-30 minute nap in the morning around 8 or 9am. Then a longer 1-2 hour nap around 1pm. At home she follows no schedule at all. I just take whatever she'll give me.
So yesterday I was home with the kiddos since our babysitter was sick and I tried to be conscious of naps. They woke for the day at 6, L went back down for another half hour after eating but G was having no part of it. Then later in the morning, probably about 10, L slept for about a half hour in the bouncer and just as she woke up, G fell asleep for a half hour in the swing. In the afternoon, I was able to get them both down in their cribs around 1:30. L slept for an hour and a half (WOO! Get it, girl!), and G slept for a half hour (sigh), but at least I was able to squeeze in a shower. Around 4:45, they both slept again for about a half hour (G in the bouncer, L in my arms). Then bed time at 7. Certainly not a schedule, but oh well, it worked out!

pbandj714 I'm impressed you got TWO babies to sleep at the same times TWICE in one day (3 times if you count overnight) and you got to shower. You're seriously winning this whole mother-of-twins thing!
