I'm doing pretty good. 24 + 1 here- hitting viability is exciting! We did a LOT of the registry today- also exciting!
I'm having some serious heel pain, which I THINK is plantar facitis. I also have been super emotional and a little anxious, but more about labor/after the baby is here. I'm almost questioning whether I'll be able to take care of a baby or something. I'm hoping it's just a weird week, and it goes away. I've been overly busy at work, and socially and I think I'm maybe just overwhelmed in general.
jennykat huge (((hugs))) I hope the next 2 weeks fly, and you get some much needed rest over break. I totally get the feelings you are having- that's kind of what I am having myself- but you will be a great mom. I'm sorry about your student, but it does sound like you WERE able to handle the emergency. I've been getting really sore too. I find warm baths help, ice sometimes. Putting my feet up. More hugs!
. I have days where I feel much less movement, too. I think they are still small enough where if they are in certain positions, we don't feel it. I know it's scary! FWIW, one night I was freaking and I ate chocolate, and had some juice, and laid on my side. She woke up. my friend also went to the ER when she was pregnant due to lack of movement and she said they had her drink a lot of cold water- which woke her baby up.

*lurking*
jennykat, I just popped in to respond to you. I'm a teacher too and taking kids on a field trip is THE most stressfull situation ever! You were responsible for whatever number of kids, overnight, in an unfamiliar place, and pregnant. When you are responsible for your own 1 (or however many) child your attention will not be divided 100 places. You will not fail at taking care of your child. You'll mess up, sure, but you won't fail. I don't know the specifics of the allergic reaction but as someone who has food allergies, it's easier in hindsight to know what you should have avoided or done better. It happens even to those who are hyper-vigilant. Try not to beat yourself up too much.
glb30,- Congrats on hitting viability! That's awesome and I'm sure setting up the registry was a lot of fun too.
jennykat, Sorry about what happened with your student. It sounds like everything worked out okay in the end so try not beat yourself up about it. I'm sure being pregnant and more emotional/stressed is adding to how you're feeling. Hopefully the next 2 weeks will fly by and you can enjoy some time off.
., Sorry you're feeling worried. Hope that little baby starts moving up a storm soon. It sucks that us IF girls are always worrying so much. I keep hoping each week that goes by that I will worry less but so far I'm still a Nervous Nelly!
AFM- I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe it. Sometimes this still doesn't feel real. I'm feeling much better in the morning sickness department so that's been a relief. I'm looking forward to getting some maternity clothes soon since now everything is getting very snug and uncomfortable.
QOTW- I love Elf. I watched it last night. I also love A Christmas Story and have to watch that at least once every holiday season.

jennykat, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened on the field trip, I agree with everyone that it sounds like you handled it just fine. I really hope the next 2 weeks fly by so that you can get some much deserved rest!
glb30, Yay for hitting viability! I feel you on the overwhelmed part, I feel that way most days right now!
., I hope this week flies by so you can get some piece of mind with your next scan!
airbear916, I'm so glad to hear that your MS is passing!

I am 23w1d now, babies are looking good on every scan and moving a lot which is really wonderful for my state of mind. My BP was elevated on Friday at my OB appointment so she had me go get labs and do a 24 hour urine collection to check for protein. So I'm freaked about that! It's just way to early for any complications and preeclampsia scares the crap out of me! So I'm waiting on lab results and trying to relax as much as possible.
QOTD: I love It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Love Actually and most of the cheesy Hall.mark Christmas movies

Okay, I'm going to be a good check in participant this week.
I'm 16 wks 1 day with team blue triplets I see my OB on Wednesday and I'm going to ask him to check my cervix. It was at 2.9 last Thursday which I wasn't very comfortable with so we shall see how I'm measuring. We're also doing the hospital pre-admitting paperwork which is bonkers. This pregnancy seems to be going pretty quickly (right now anyway). We bought a new house and are preparing it to move soon. We had to upgrade now that we're adding three more kids to our home. QOTW: my favorite movies are probably A Christmas Story because it's tradition. I also love Love Actually. I enjoyed the claymation Rudolph and Frosty movies so I'll be looking out for those too
I'm stealing your idea to count down the wake ups until your break, .! I'm sorry you can't get into the doctor this week.
glb30 and ., just today, one of my coworkers was telling me a story about how she used to worry about movement and just poke her daughter. I think water or sugar is a better option.
Today is 16w4d with b/g twins. I had a high risk appointment last week, and everything looked great. I've been thinking more and more about getting put on bedrest, which scares the crap out of me. I have the week between Christmas and New Year's off, and cannot wait (14 wake ups).
QOTW: I also love Elf, and for a non-traditional Christmas movie, I love Trading Places.
jennykat can you please add me to the check in. Also, I'm really sorry to hear about the allergic scare with your student.
I'm in my second trimester!!!! 14 weeks and 1 day. We are team pink! My due date is June 4th. My MFM would like to get me to May 15th. He made me feel so comfortable when he told me he has successfully delivered 3 sets of twins from mother's with a unicornuate uterus.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with OB. My regular monthly check up. I had my NT scan last week. So I get to see my jellybean again.
