EDD: 8/4/17 How many expecting? 1 bean Treatment that got you here: IVF (FET) with ICSI/CCS testing
We had our first ultrasound this morning and saw the yolk sac. I've been so so dizzy yesterday and today and although the RE said it's strange, everything looked great. Little embie implanted high in the uterus and she was happy
QOTW: No gifts yet for baby, but I'm buying myself some funny pregnancy shirts (like eating Christmas cookies for 2!)
1. How far are you now? Measured 5w5d this morning. 2. Symptom check:Feeling nauseous here and there. The boob pain is finally subsiding 3. What and when is your next appointment? Had one this morning. Next is Thursday. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I was bleeding bright red last night so the RE let me come in for an ultrasound this morning. Cervix is closed and blood is brown now. There was the tiniest little flicker of a heartbeat. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I can't wait for our Thursday appointment. I'm on bedrest this week, which sucks because I wanted to decorate more tonight, but now I'll be watching J do it from the couch.
QOTW: We haven't planned on buying anything, but who knows

QOTW: I did order two twin onsies. They came in and the first thing my husband said was "that makes me nervous". I guess he is also scared of another loss happening. I want to buy more, but I am scared.
I feel like I won't want to buy anything until a week before delivery. Which is not practical.

Guise, this is normal! At 22 weeks I reluctantly did a registry for my shower. Then last week (27 weeks) was the first time I actually bought anything on my own. We finally purchased the rest of our stuff yesterday (28 weeks) but it was followed by a breakdown about how one baby isn't moving as much and how will we get rid of this stuff when things go bad. PAIF brain is just awful.

1. How far are you now? 12w4d 2. Symptom check: Heartburn seems under control with more Zantac, nausea seems to be slowly getting better, I'm actually hungry sometimes 3. What and when is your next appointment? I had an appt today, next one in January 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Last appt the MW couldn't find the heartbeat and sent me for an ultrasound even though it was early just for my reassurance. Today I told the OB that I was nervous about that and she said she'd do an ultrasound if we couldn't find the heartbeat. Of course baby wasn't cooperative so she whipped out the ultrasound machine and all was good. I'm announcing at work tomorrow
ETA: QOTW: Last Christmas we were shopping and bought a onesie for when we someday had a baby. Last weekend we were shopping and DH saw a onesie he really wanted so we bought it. I tell my myself it's still for our "someday" baby which is hopefully this one.
