Shiny and new stupid questions

mlbrooks, I had crazy cycles before W- like I'd O on day 68 on cycle and then 37 the next, but after W they were really consistent too. I'm now pregnant again, but I could see them starting to lengthen out a bit again.

Ovulation dictates cycle length so if you O'd later than normal your period would come later. Temping can help you track it if you're interested in that.

I hope your cycle is more consistent when you TTC. It sucks when it isn't (but obviously not impossible).

I take dried apricots, steam them until they're soft, then blend and mix with yogurt or oatmeal. I guess our kids are old enough to eat dried fruit alone too. And I've heard all the 'p' fruits are good (pears, peaches, etc) but that's never enough for us.

mlbrooks maybe it is just an off cycle? I know in the past I had fairly regular cycles post partum for a little while, but then there would be a random really long cycle here and there. If they start getting a bit longer, you could also start temping to get a better handle on when you're ovulating and such too. Good luck!

Like Robot said about the p fruits.  Also cut out apples, bananas, and rice. Those will cause more issues. 
Also offer her water that will help her GI tract.

There are some days that M poops that much too. At first I thought it was because I was introducing cheese because he was previously allergic and then I thought it was because he had a bug or virus now I think he just poops that much! For us it's an average of 3 a day. I do think dairy still messes with him a little.

@mlbrooks I've been ovulating super early. Like day 10-12. And have a 16-18 day second half of my cycle. Definitely different than pre baby.

I asked this ok Facebook but does anyone's LO snore? E is snoring away in the backseat right now.

B still poops about 5x a day.... Pedi said it's fine as long as it's "normal" stool.

bwisco123, today my pedi told me to do offer what I cook and if she refuses then that's that. That at this age they ebb and flow as far as eating.


W has been doing this too. I think she may be getting teeth so I offer other stuff too, but she just doesn't want to eat one day but then the next she's a bottomless pit.

That's where we're at and I'm wondering if I should just ride it out and see what happens or if it's worth a call or am I just paranoid?

I don't think 1 meal a day would be cause for concern. I feel like my kids alway eat 2 big meals a day and practical nothing at the 3rd meal.

On and off for a few weeks.
Yesterday she ate zero bites of lunch. Refused everything! Picked at breakfast and dinner 😕

Sounds like my lyfe. I really honestly wouldn't worry about it unless she refuses all food for a couple of days.

At A's 18 month appointment, the pedi told me that at this age, it is not uncommon for toddlers to skip a meal. She said some days they'll eat, and some days they won't. Makes me a nervous wreck, especially since DS is a "failure to thrive" baby and is so small.

Well it's been cold here and I don't.
She's outside for 20 seconds max and we warm up the car before hand.

If we were outside for a few minutes, I'd try it even then she hates it.

My kid actually requests to put on her mittens, hat and coat when we're getting ready to go. She doesn't even really need to as my car is parked in the garage. She does take them off on the way to daycare but I don't put them back on for the 30 seconds between the car and the door. And today it's a negative windchill.

So I'm sure it's fine. 😊

Haha, ok.  I'm freaking out because the high tomorrow is supposed to be 22.  I know that's not really THAT cold but it is to me!  I'm like, do I put a scarf on a baby? Lol.  I will just preheat the car and not worry so much about it.

Honestly, my kid sucks at biting and chewing, even with all her teeth.  My friend's kid who's the same age with way less teeth eats salad.  I'm happy when mine will take a decent bite of banana.  So there's that.

I wouldn't worry too much. My cousins daughter will be two in February and only has her molars and like 5 other teeth.

I remember you ladies talking about how shitty molars coming in were and I think we are there. She wakes up every night lately screaming and won't go back to sleep until there are cuddles and Tylenol. I feel bad to continue with the Tylenol, but it seems to help. How long does this last? Will she ever sleep again? Gah!

We went through this but no more so with the canines. It was awful. It lasted a few days and took Tylenol each time to get her calm enough for sleep. She will sleep again but it sucks for awhile. Sorry, I don't have better advice.
