Omg. I don't know how I'm going to handle another 10 months of DS being home 3 days a week and not getting any sleep to deal with him. I may lose my mind.
DD1 is currently making 'recipe' with water, Mac n cheese, and peas. I'm turning a blind eye because she's quiet.
Great suggestion sanibel21! I found a quick recipe on Pinterest that would only take 12 min. They came out great! I am going to attempt to make these. Hope my art skills are up to par!
Can you post a link to the recipe? I would like to try doing that.
vavavictoria I found it on Pinterest and the link doesn't work anymore, so here is a screenshot. I added an extra 4 minutes cook time because I think I didn't roll the dough thin enough.
I ended up making the santa ornaments. They were so easy and adorable!
adouces06 those came out awesone!! I just painted the hands one color. I wish I did some of these too! I read sealing them with midge podge helps them last longer too. Not sure if you saw that anywhere.

Ooh that's a great idea! I will have to do that tomorrow. And thanks! They were fun to make

MOTN rant: Gonna murder my DH. The baby isn't settling well after feedings tonight. I am trying to get him calmed when DH came thumping into the nursery when he saw I wasn't in bed to inform me *he* was going to bed because he needs the sleep. When he's been up gaming and it's now 1am. The hallway light was on and he swung the door wide open, talking in a normal voice instead of a whisper and then left said door open to the light when he turned around and left... and then came back five minutes later to tell me he was turning off the baby monitor since I was up and again, he needs his rest.
WTF husband. I know you are going on international travel in a day and you get nervous, but they put you up in a freaking 5 star hotel. SUCK IT UP... I just told him two hours ago the last thing he gets to complain about this week is sleep. It's not that far of a flight and he isn't watching over a baby all week by himself. Pissed atm.
macaronmama I'd be livid! Sitting on a plane, with the option to sleep, read, or just zone out, seems lovely to me. I hope he apologizes in the morning.
macaronmama tell your hubs to man the fuck up and stop acting like a child. Tell him if he wants to sleep then to sleep on the plane or when he is at his five star hotel, and then in the same breath mention how you get to handle a week of baby wake ups by yourself. Regardless if he gets nervous about travel or not, he doesn't need to be a dink about needing his beauty rest. I'd be livid too, and I hope he realizes he was being ridiculous and apologizes. Men....
britta looked like the winter storm was pretty bad on the news. Hope you all are ok!
DD stopped vomiting after about 12 hours, so after noon or so, and she begged for some of the chicken pesto pasta I made for dinner, so she ate that. She held it down, but didn't feel so great after she ate it. Hopefully she will be able to eat today. Poor girl was so hungry. So far, she's the only victim, but it's still early. Thanks for asking.

We're good so far, thanks. Judging by the railings on our deck, we've gotten about 5 or 6 inches since Thursday late morning. Another system is moving through tonight and tomorrow, with another 6-10 inches expected. H said the drive to work tomorrow was ok, just slow.
There was a 40 care pile up on the expressway on the other side of the state Thursday. I think they were warmer than us starting out and then had black ice issues when the snow started.
