Remember how my kid liked to hump the floor as he was trying to start crawling? Yea, apparently this is also how he tries to learn dancing. Humping the table.
This is L's dance too. Serious hip gyrating. It's also one of the things she does on command (if I say "Can you dance??" she starts frantically wiggling and grinning). Baby dance moves rule.

This is not entirely different than my dancing as an adult, sadly.
Writing Christmas cards is awkward, especially with relatives that you don't really keep in touch with, but still feel obligated to send a card. Maybe I should have just sent a family newsletter in the cards lol. I'm finding myself writing, "Hope you are well! Merry Christmas!"
I am sending Christmas cards for the first time this year. I have a different last name than DH and DD and I am finding that awkward. All the cards on Shutterfly have a space to say from the Jones family and I left that whole spot blank. My family has first names only on the cards.

This has been us for 3 years of cards now. They look cute when they're printed though, don't worry!

Could you put something like "the smith-johnson family"? That way it includes both of your names, plus I assume the people you're sending it to know what your last names are.

That's what I put on our return address stickers. Lastname/lastname (mine is long so no room for family). But I don't mind just having first names on the card I think it looks cute. Also, where I'm from in VT most people don't change their names, haha. I didn't realize this until I went through my card list, and SO's. Most of mine have 2 last names, and literally none of his did. Kind of amused me. Hippies!
I gave him a bucket with a little thing of lotion inside so we could finish dinner. He's been playing with it, taking it out and putting it back in, for 15 minutes. Again I ask, why do we buy them toys?

Hi ladies! I have not been able keep up with all the threads this week but pop in when I can. Travelling with the kiddos is keeping us busy! We've made it to Greensboro, NC tonight so we'll be hitting Myrtle Beach tomorrow! Woohoo! (Then we get a week before doing it all over again, ha.)

The return address labels just say my name. Because for some reason the Salvation Army has sent me about 200 address labels this year, and I don't really mail too many things, so we are going to use them.
trtlcrzy, I'm pretty sure most of DH's family does not know what my name is. I think I am the only woman in his family to not change my name when getting married. Nobody even hyphenated. And whenever they mail me something, it is always addressed to Mrs. Husband's LastName.
I only ended up working till noon today. Went to the store to get some things, then home and hauled Christmas decor out of the basement. I got my 2 smalls trees set up, nativity set out, and a few other items out. I've been waiting foreeeeever for DD's stocking to show up in the mail so I can get those hung. I'm pretty sure it's been in the state all week, so it better show up tomorrow.

My sister does this with her photo cards. First names only since her last name is different than her SO's. It looks very nice!
