ashleysyn Also, listen up homegirl, you belong here. You AW your fab clothes, your kids and talk about anything you want, you're N16 and I won't have it any other way. Imagine a large plate of Ukrainian food as my offering for you to stay and play.

Hi ashleysyn!!! I'm so incredibly sorry for the emotional shit storm your last few weeks have been. T&Ps for healing and strength to you and your family. IMO you will always have a place here. Especially since a majority of these moms here have bigs.
waitwhat I send you wine. In case you haven't noticed, I hate when people bother me in my safe haven that is my house. I see NOTHING wrong with you wanting some alone bonding time with your family.

dashook I always hold down my boob around her nose, you are not alone
I know I'm really behind, but I always do this as well with my newborns. Once I feel like they have enough control to easily pull away when they need air, I stop worrying about it so much (plus, there will definitely come a time when I need the use of both hands while nursing).

waitwhat, I don't know what your comfort level is, but if I were you, I would definitely nurse the baby whenever and wherever you want regardless of who's around. If any of your visitors is uncomfortable, they can either take a walk or go sit in another room until you're finished (or maybe just decide to visit less frequently? ).

When does this postpartum bleeding stop?! It's almost 4 weeks already and I'm over it. *TMI* I'm down to liners but it's basically every time I wipe.
O gave us good stretches last night! But my boobs woke me up at 4! I was so annoyed that my baby is sleeping soundly finally and my boobs hurt so much that I woke up... I stubbornly laid there until O woke up 45 mins later.

waitwhat I sometimes feel weird nursing in front of some people, but I've kind of gotten to where I'm like, baby's gotta eat. If you have an issue with my baby eating, that's on you. I do use a cover when out, but at home I just go for it regardless of who is visiting.

DS has a nasty cold, so sick day today. Watching Zootopia for the second time and hoping he is okay for school tomor. I can't stop eating the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies I made yesterday, they are the best I've made in years (just the chocolate oatmeal chip recipe on back of Costco size Nestle bag).
I've realized I'm totally spoiling N and she naps on us during the day. I'm not ready to give up the newborn naps yet though..daycare can teach her to nap in a crib soon enough.
I caved and introduced the pacifier today. She took it right away and seems to like it. I'm wondering if it might help with some of our nighttime fussiness struggles.
We had Santa brunch this morning, which was a lot of fun. Caroline was non-plussed and let Santa and Mrs. C hold her, but Bradley was a bit shy. He warmed up, though, and while he didn't sit on SC's lap, he did have a nice little chat and ask for "Criss Cross Crash!" (must be said with emphasis on "crash")
Mom and I did some Christmas shopping with C this afternoon; I did not buy myself anything so that's a win. I made a pretty good dent in it, so feeling marginally better.
Tonight we had Chinese take-out and are currently watching TWD.
ashleysyn What PPs said...stick around! I'm sorry for the tough time you've had the last few weeks
danib and dashook The baptism photos y'all posted were lovely. Congratulations! Glad both events went well.
cheshie6 I also recommend the book sophiegrace mentioned, Caring for your Baby/Young Child. I actually got a free copy during this pregnancy and really like it.
hangry Glad the fever was gone and hope both children are healthy again soon.
So her fever came back. Were at the hospital now with 101.4. They are about to insert an IV for blood work and also a catheter. They also said that a lumbar puncture is a possibility. Send us some positive thoughts.
Oh no hangry I am sending all the positive vibes yours and baby E's way.. I hope all is A-ok!
danib I'm so glad the baptism went off without a hitch! Hoping hat dashook 's did as well.
ashleysyn Yes sophiegrace is right, the other twin mamas here can really use your insight. Please ?! Stick around and keep us company!!! And plus you have other kids that deserve AWing. I'm so sorry about your pup and grandma ☹️
cookswithwine9 For polling purposes, my PP bleeding turned to a brownish discharge at about 4weeks and ended altogether with not a drop of anything yesterday at 5 weeks.
starbuck27 Do it !!!! (says the girl who can't even handle two on her own for a half hour)
