E didn't nap much today according to MIL, and by 6pm he was crazy tired. He usually doesn't go to bed until closer to 9 (sometimes later!) but it's 7pm and he's in jammies, nursed & rocked to sleep. If he treats this as a nap & is wide awake in an hour or so I might actually cry.

Has anyone else's baby started to seem like they're scared to be put down in the MOTN? When she wakes up I feed her and she usually falls back asleep feeding but sometimes (like right now) she won't fall asleep nursing. I try to put her down in her crib but she seriously seems scared to be left. I thought that didn't happen until later?
B's normal schedule seems to be up at 10:30 and then 2:30, and up for the day around 6:45. Since H is home for the next two weeks (he took FMLA), I've been having him get up every time with B after i feed him. H is sooooo tirrrrred every morning because he isn't use to waking up so much.
Oh well dude! I'm up too, and going to work! This has been my life for 5 months, youve done it like four nights in a row.
ellebelle, M definitely gets upset occasionally when I put her down if she's not drowsy enough... I guess for her it seemed more like she was mad that I was putting her down rather than scared? Hoping we still have some time before the separation anxiety creeps in!
We finally got some sleep last night!!!! Thank goodness. Its amazing what a solid 6 hours of sleep does for me now when that used to be no where near enough haha.
B had two shots today and barley napped. Maybe slept a total of 1 hour today. He was super cranky so I gave him a bath and Tylenol. He was out cold by 6:45.
I went out w friends tonight so my H put E down w a bottle. I got home at 10 and pumped a bit, and as I'm putting the milk in the freezer, E wakes up. Wtf kid? So I'm nursing him now to hopefully get a decent stretch once I go to bed. DS1 also just woke up. These kids sense me. Should have stayed out later!

Why, Mal, why? Last night he slept fine from 7-1. I should have gone to sleep at 7. He was up wriggling and crying 1-2, at 4, at 6, and at 8. He was still tired but couldn't hold it together for over two hours. My back hurts and my soul hurts.
I'm trying a more rigid 3-nap schedule, with the 3rd nap earlier and an earlier bedtime. It's hard because I spend so much time driving DD1 to and from school (50 minutes round trip, ugh) and Baby R sometimes falls asleep in the car.
Her naps still suck and she basically won't ever nap if I'm not holding her and not for longer than 45 minutes. But it seems to be helping, we're on Day 4 and out of the last 3 nights, we only had one evening wakeup screamfest total instead of 2-3 per night. So yay!

My baby took 2 1.5 hour naps in his crib as well as a short car nap! Is it a full moon? How did this happen? I'm so hoping this results in a good night. I really need more than 3 hours of consecutive sleep - can't remember the last time that happened.
B still isn't sleeping. I put him in his crib awake because he refused to nurse, didn't want to be rocked. He's almost asleep, just trying to get comfy.
Last night he slept from 6:45-2:45 and then went back to sleep until 7:15. I just assume it was because of his shots and today will be back to regularly scheduled shit show
J hasn't taken longer than a 20-30 minute nap all week. She's been fighting going to sleep and add in her being up all night too and I'm about to lose my brain. I'm hoping it's just her teeth bugging her and this is not our new normal.
