So I got double good news yesterday.
1. Despite his previous 2 reactions, Magoo is NOT allergic to peanut butter! She redid the test twice to be sure, and told to to start feeding it to him slowly and come back if he gets any more drastic reactions. So last night I fed him a bit on a cracker. Of course nothing happened. So now I feel a little dumb for worrying so much, but super relieved.
2. I got my second interview for the new position at work! It's Monday morning, dh will be off on vacation so he's staying with Ryan. I'm alternating between super excited and scared shitless.
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
No work today for me but DS has preschool so baby and I will have some alone time this morning. Not much else planned for the day. DS has hockey tonight and H possibly works late, so I'm hoping not because I haven't gotten him dressed before. I leave that to H.
So idk what happened but he slept til 12:15, woke up crying g. Dragged my butt out of bed and fed him in his room, put him back in crib. Woke up CRYING at 3:30, MH brought him to bed and I nursed him. Then he slept til 6 when MH's alarm went off. It normally goes off at 6:30 so I'm a little peeved since he still hasn't gotten up yet.
BUT - that's only two wake ups. And he stayed in crib until 3:30.
ETA his first wake up is almost always around 10:30. So this is huge... he slept 5 hours straight instead of 3
It's H's day off, so I'm going grocery shopping. All by myself. Plus I need to get stocking stuffers. I feel like I'm doing everything so last minute right now. I finally ordered H's gifts, and a gift for my niece. Unfortunately the gift for my niece has an estimated delivery date of Dec 28, because Amazon wouldn't let me choose 2 day shipping for that item. Boo!

kellybenelly83, that's double great news!! Congrats on the next step. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Yay no allergies.
britterrss, X does this. Just about when I'm at my wit's end and start thinking about whatever "sleep training" options, I'm comfortable with, he usually gets better (for a bit). I think he sees my Google history and thinks "Oh shit. She's serious. Okay, I'll sleep." Glad you got some sleep!
I did not. We were up 5 times, and then up for the day at 6:30. I hope this tooth is fully through ASAP.
We're supposed to leave for our 2 week trip on Saturday. They're calling for terrible weather, so I get to spend some time trying to figure out our options. It's a windchill of -18, I don't plan on leaving the house if I don't have to.
Morning! H has preschool and after we drop her off S and I are going to the car dealership. My heater doesn't seem to be working in my car and that doesn't work so well when it's like 1 degree outside. I'm hoping it doesn't take them forever but at the minimum they are done before I have to pick H up. Then this afternoon we are baking some more Christmas cookies.
My morning has been a mild suckfest. L had an appointment to receive her second flu shot this morning, which took about a half hour longer than expected. When we went to leave, my car wouldn't start. Thank goodness one of the nurses had jumper cables and was able to get me started, so I took L to daycare and went straight to Advance Auto to get the battery tested. Sure enough my battery was old, dead, and needed to be replaced. Nothing like spending an unexpected $130 during the holiday season! At least being extra late for work got me out of a meeting I didn't really want to attend.
morwen, we are planning on driving down tomorrow and my mom texted to let me know all roads out/in to my hometown are closed right now, and plows were pulled off the road till further notice. sounds like you guys might be getting some of that then
This morning has been fairly good for us, Dh had a little bit of a panic this morning about 2U2 but we talked and he is good now, haha. Mad rushing to get everything done and packed today so we can leave when G wakes up tomorrow morning. I am also writing a list for DH to do while we are gone, before he drives down to meet us for christmas. I think once i am "home for the holidays" I will be able to get more into the christmas spirit. I am thinking we should have followed rivers and roads lead and did a fake christmas last weekend instead of christmas on the road.
I took a sick day today. I don't know how I'm going to keep working and watching the baby. Hopefully taking a day today will help. This is a time when I desperately wish I had some sort of relatives that could watch the baby.
I'm just going to bed after work last night. FML. I didn't get home until 1130. Staff meetings after night shifts should be outlawed. Too tired to tag but yaaaay Kelly on interview and no allergies! Huge relief with the PB. Good luck! Britterrs (nope, can't) SO glad you got some more sleep. Come on W!! Continue!! Stay warm everyone It's soooooo cold here. Not like chocolate's cold though. I might die. I'm going to bed for a few hours....
Today has been a super productive day so far. I got my groceries done. Bought stocking stuffers for H and DS (H will get the ones for me and DD). Painted the salt dough ornaments. And dipped the rest of the peanut butter balls in chocolate.
Now I get a pumping break then its on to baking cookies and doing dishes.
R has a cold, so she's miserable. She STTN from 7:30 to 5:30 (which is very unusual so she's obviously wiped), woke to eat, and went back to sleep until 8:30. Poor baby is just sad. She doesn't want to nap unless she's in my arms.
R's hair is getting long enough to fall into her eyes. It doesn't stay swept off to the side like I want. I don't really want to cut it but I might need to soon. She pulls headbands off before I even have them on all the way. Does anyone know of some good non-slip clips I could try?

Could you do a ponytail on the top or side of her head just with this front hair? Obviously not a glamorous look for older kids or adults but I think it's cute for a baby Oh and I hope she feels better soon!
My day went from "we aren't getting dressed" to "do ALL the things" because our flight got bumped to tomorrow to avoid the storm that's coming. So when I thought I had two days to pack and get ready, I really have half a day and I work tonight. And, of course, because I had the gull to give Sleep advice yesterday, X has taken 10-15 minute naps all day.t 30-40 minutes to fall asleep, 10 minute naps. He's so grumpy and over tired. Viscious cycle.
On the bright side, we did his allergy test yesterday and got the results already. No cows milk or egg allergies! He had a very slightly elevated number for peanuts so we will go to an allergist to figure that out before we try it. But that's a relief! I wonder what the reaction we saw was then...

Glad he can eat cheese! Sorry for the lack of naps and hurrying to prepare for your trip.

Oh yeah I could try that! I love the Pebbles look on babies.

I find the little clips with the grippy to stay well too.
I took my car to the dealer this morning where they informed me it wasn't going to be a quick thing so I had to get a loaner car. It's the exact same as my car except it's the base model. I miss my car already.

I'm having this problem too. She has a weird comb over but it's getting too long and she's too active for it to stay. I don't know if I'm ready for pony tails yet!! Both H and my mom told me I need to get her bangs cut. Not happening.

EatsRitz I hope she feels better soon! rivers and roads good luck on the packing!! That's nuts!!
We went to the post office (1.5 blocks away) and had to wait forever for the lady's stupid computer to unfreeze. Meanwhile were dressed for -20 and baby is screaming because he's hot and annoyed. Anyway, Christmas cards finally mailed....
Haven't done much this afternoon, my mom called, which woke Ryan up, so he might be a bear by bedtime.

My mom and sister are here. We just finished making a shit ton of cookies. And I mean a shit ton. I think my baking quota has been met for the next 5 years.
