I used baby wrap towels for DD1 and hated them. It was like drying her with a wash cloth would have been more effective they are so thin and awkward. We've only used our regular towels for DD2 this time.

I found one wrap towel with Liam that was thick like a regular towel. That's the only wrap towel I used with seb.

I have just been using our regular bath towels for the last few months. We had a few hooded ones left from DD1 but I was never really a fan, they just never seemed long enough on either girl.

With my first baby, I used the little baby wrap towels with the hood for so long. This time I just switched to regular towels pretty quickly. The hooded towels are usually so thin and small.

yeah, we switched to a larger, hooded kid's towel. The baby ones were useless after a few months for my long baby! If his shark towel is in the wash he gets a big beach towel to cover his head, although he's about had it with the towel on his head.
On the toddler things topic, are you are using a blanket in the crib or a sleep sack? What kind of blanket are you using? I'm worried about giving him one that it is too heavy.

samelly we have a soft thicker blanket rolled up along the rails of her crib because she likes to snuggle up against it and she likes to be covered with a thin receiving blanket. She has a peppa bonding bunny that she likes to hold over her face too.

We use a blanket. He's a very warm bodied baby so he usually sleeps in just a diaper, so having a blanket allows him to keep it off easily.

samelly, blanket. She likes snuggling up in mine so we started using one in her crib. It's a chunky knit type so it's warm, but still has holes just in case. I've found her on top of it several times, but she's never had it over her head.
