DH and DD are sick with a stomach bug. My stomach feels a little off but so far I'm ok. And E doesn't seem to have caught it...yet. Staying home from work today to take care of the sickies. I'd much rather be at work.
Last 2 and a half days with my MIL at our house!! She has been a huge help, but I'm definitely ready to be on our own again. We still have wayyy more Christmas shopping to do than I'd care to admit. All for DH's family though. Mine is done. I was able to actually SIT on the COUCH and enjoy my HOT coffee BY MYSELF this morning! Not asking questions. My husband starts his leave Wednesday and will be home with M until February. He bought himeself two giant puzzles to do while he's home. Mmmk buddy. Good luck with that.

I bought the last of the gifts this weekend on Amazon. Thank goodness for 2 day prime shipping. I also wrapped most of the gifts last night. WE are hosting Christmas Eve with my family so I work today and tomorrow and then need to clean.

ginabini, sorry about the stomach bug. We had finally started recovering from the chest colds and DS got the stomach bug last Wednesday. It's been no fun at our house.

H is at home with the boys. He is taking S to the Dr. today because S is miserable with a cold and yesterday he started having a ton of eye discharge which resulted in his eyes being completely crusted shut this morning. No word on what's going on yet but I hope we get some answers.
Pumping right now and really wishing I was working from on home. I hate coming into the office. I feel like I get less done here than I do st home.
So sleepy. DH took DD1 to school, bless him. The TV is still on and my 5 month old is watching Daniel Tiger. I'm too tired to care.
I have one more store to go to, but it's single-digits outside so it can wait.
Why does my baby poop so much?? It did slow down to once a day or once every other day. Now it's back to 4x a day. So much poop.
Re poop this was my DS1. It was out of control. Consistently until around 15 months, he pooped every time he ate so basically 6-8x/day at this age. We cloth diaper and left the house regularly so I'd walk around with a wet bag full of poop. Fun!
prvc678 - Hope they feel better soon and that it doesn't spread
Had a pretty good weekend and it is going to be so slow this week at work. I still have to figure out what to get my grandparents for Christmas but otherwise I think I am done (besides getting alcohol for the guys). What do you get people who have everything? Maybe a HK calendar lol
It is literally freezing here this morning - yes I know that I am a whiner but this South Texas gal isnt used to it. It actually feels colder here than it did in MN last week!

S has an eye infection in both eyes, not pink eye something else. So we will be giving him eye drops 3x a day for 7 days. My poor guy, he is still pretty happy he just looks yucky.
We had an early Christmas Saturday night with my aunt and uncle visiting from FL and they got Sam a Beatbo. OMG I've never seen that kid get so excited, it was adorable! As soon as we put it in front of him and turned it on he lost his mind and was jumping up and down to the music and smiling.
I've got 4 day work weeks the next three weeks due to the holidays which I'm super excited about! I'm feeling a little panicked about all of the different foods I have to make before this weekend for Christmas and presents so I'm glad I'm off Friday to work on them. And I still need to make one of those DIY stepping stones for my grandma...whyyy did I ever think that would be a good, easy idea for a gift!

I did one of those stepping stones and it was NOT easy! I used a kit from Michael's and it did not work right. The concrete mix was way too watery, so the imprints we made just disappeared. I used an entire roll of paper towels trying to absorb some of the extra water. It eventually worked but did not look good I guess my point is, don't buy the cheap kit from Michael's!

We bought cheap kits off amazon for FIL for Father's day last year. Just add the water slowly. It worked well even for little baby feet.
And we got the Beatbo playmat for the twins, my BF got a regular Beatbo for them so I am excited knowing Sam loved it.
This day has been an absolute shitshow. Now it's almost 9:00, and neither of my children are sleeping. Oh, and DH has spent probably 20 of the last 24 hours sleeping. I'm so excited to go back to work tomorrow.

Oh man, that sounds miserable. Hugs. I hope they go to bed soon and stay there!

Oh man that sounds rough. I hope everyone sleeps and feels better!

It might sound pretty granola, but you could try breast milk as well - my friends daughter suffer from sties chronically and nothing worked until they tried breastmilk!
