Hi all!
My nurse just called with the results from beta #3 and I'm pretty sure that means I go here.
Long story:
(Trigger warning/loss)
I was given an IF diagnosis way back in 2004 and, after a failed IVF cycle, was told I would never get pregnant on my own. Eight years later, I had a miracle pg that ended in a 20 week loss.
After banging our heads against the wall for a couple years, I was given another IF diagnosis. We moved to DEmbs in 2015 and had our first FET last September which had an implantation issue. We tweaked the plan and moved onto FET #2 in June which ended in a loss due to Turner's Syndrome.
FET #3 happened on December 6. First beta came back at 548, second beta at 3441, and third 7416. We transferred two perfect blasts.
The nurse wants me to schedule our OB u/s for next week. Here is where my PAIF brain is in overdrive. My RE is off. Our favorite RE is also off. The RE that is on is an asshole that we hate is the only doc in all week. Last time we saw him was in June and he left us sitting for an hour - after giving us shitty news. My stomach is turning at the thought of seeing this RE again.
I know logically that having our first u/s with this RE will not change whatever is found on the u/s but I still want to wait the extra week to see the other RE.
This is crazy, I know it's crazy, I don't think I care that's it's crazy.
TL/dr: Hi, pregnant and insane.
ETA - I've had spotting yesterday and today so my RE is having me come in tomorrow for an u/s out of an abundance of caution with my history. The nurse kept telling me that she was not worried at all but then called me back to tell me to not eat or drink anything after midnight just in case they had to do emergency surgery. But she's not worried. At all.
ETA #2: they could see one sac measuring 5weeks, that is implanted high and to the right. The tech did say she could see some lining next to it which made the RE feel better. No signs as to what could be causing the spotting so right now we are chalking it up to sensitive cervix and baby aspirin. Next u/s is scheduled for 1/3.
