We do yogurt melts too, but it too often. They're so gross to me. I used them to keep him happy while we were out with my work team for lunch today. He loves them.
So I got the offer for the new position, the raise is ok, it's definitely not what I was led to believe which sucks, but it's still good. I have to return a week early but that's ok. So I was able to tell my team, and they all seemed happy for me, but disappointed I wasn't coming back. My old boss said he was upset because he just told the manager "there's only one alpha male in this department and she's on Maternity leave " he was telling him how good I am at being the only female and not putting up with shit. Oh well! Lol
Congrats! Sorry you were misled a bit but hey, more money!
She's acting ok for the most part today. DH took her in last night and they didn't seem to concerned. Part of me feels like she is dehydrated or getting there so I am trying to push fluids.
I'm glad she's feeling a bit better. If she's struggling to drink you could give her a washcloth saturated with water to suck on. Or they make pedialyte popsicles too. How are her diapers?
Super productive today. Amazing. Dusted. Swept and mopped. Vacuumed, including the stairs and basement. Deep cleaned the kitchen, appliances, etc and rearranged so knives are up higher. Cleaned bathroom and tub. Did laundry, including mats. Washed dog's bowls and mat. Christmas presents are done and wrapped. Of course what's left, to never be done ever because it's always last: my bedroom. Someday, maybe it won't be a pit. But probably not.

You're making me tired just reading that. Also I look super lazy by comparison
I just finished making candles which is quite labour intensive. I made a few mistakes and now I know better, I know what to do in future and I have to redo a few, but it's pretty good for a few random Christmas gift add ons. Now I think it's maybe bath time.

Same. Our bedroom is always a mess because lowest priority.
I'm finally getting a chance to sit down for the first time today! I was super productive though so I'm glad. Did my cleaning, baked the cake, sewed a 4 on a shirt for DS, and had my grandma over for a few hours. Tomorrow I just need to run to the grocery store for buns, fruit, and veggies, which I plan to do first thing in the morning. Decorate the cake and food prep for the party. And I think I have to take the kids out to visit DS's cousins who are in town for a bit.
I'm looking forward to Saturday because we are going to MIL's and I don't really have to do anything that day but just be.

Is tomorrow the party? I hope R has a great time and that it all goes smoothly! Enjoy those yummy sandwiches!
I think it's time I need to step it up and find some friends down here. Mom friends who want to get away from the house sometimes.
I was complaining that I never have time to accomplish all that I need to do while home with the kid. So my H took him out to run errands this afternoon. So I could clean the house uninterrupted. Great. But then I started doing dishes and had a mini meltdown. This is my "me time." This is it. Forever. I realized I have not been out away from my mom duties or house duties in ten months, except for the few date nights with my H and the one time I did bridal things with my bff. I haven't had any fun times just me or me and some friends.. in ten months. It's horseshit. I need friends (all mine are back home two hours away) and a local babysitter. Time to stop crying and put my big girl pants on.
Motherhood.
Eta. I guess it's been longer than that because it's not like I was out on the town at 9million months pregnant either.
I'm so sorry you feel that way. I've had several meltdowns myself about no "me time". He is super clingy lately and I just need freakin SPACE. My patience is wearing thinner and thinner and I know it'd be better for me to get out but then I realize, even if I found a sitter and all that, there's no where for me to even go here by myself since I don't speak Spanish well and don't drive. Like, trying to communicate how I want my nails done would be more stressful than a pedicure itself. And trying to make friends is hard bc I feel like all I am able to talk about is my child, since that is my world day in and day out and I literally have no time for anything else, but that's boring and nobody cares.
Who was having the shoulder tingling? Was it mishy2010? (I hope I got that tag right) I have questions.
It was me. (Still is me, haven't gotten it fixed yet).
Ok, here are my questions: is the tingling painful at all? Is it all the time or does it go away?
I have started getting a tingling on my left shoulder blade a few weeks ago. It doesn't hurt at all, it's just annoying. It started about the same time I started getting pain in my left wrist. It comes and goes but I'm not sure the triggers yet.

This sounds like what I am experiencing. It is also centered around my left shoulder blade. It is never painful, just annoying. And it comes or goes. Maybe ten times a day. Or more? It last for a few minutes. It almost always starts when I brush my teeth, so it is probably related to some muscles I am using for that. (It doesn't exclusively happen when I brush my teeth, I just always notice it then.)
I saw a neurologist, and got several MRIs and so ruled out any neurological cause. I need to make an appointment with a chiropractor but I just haven't gotten around to it.

I notice it mostly when I sit down at the table to eat. So weird. Maybe a pinched nerve?

Could be. It was annoying the hell out of me in August/September, but although the frequency hasn't changed, it isn't bothering me as much right now. When it does, I will get my butt in gear and schedule something with a chiropractor. Let me know if decide to see someone about it and what they say.

trtlcrzy, near the end of my pregnancy i experienced the tingling all the time in the middle of my back and on my shoulder blade. After i had G i don't think it ever happened again, so maybe it is a pinched nerve?

Maybe. I got a gift certificate for a massage for Christmas so I'm going to see if that helps.
