My best gift was that I didn't throw up yesterday and didn't even have to take Zofran! It was a Christmas miracle!
My parents got us another camera to go with our current baby monitor, so we can have one in the baby's room too. Other than that, we got money and gift cards 😄
And DD loves her babydoll furniture that Santa brought.
My husband got me the Mei Tei baby carrier I'd been eyeing. I already have a ring sling, the moby, and an ergo but with DS I quickly learned the belt on the Ergo gave me an unflattering muffin top. I love baby wearing and I can't wait to start using my carriers again!

My parents gave us money towards furniture for the nursery. I got maternity clothes and gift cards to buy maternity clothes.
My ILs bought me a new winter coat (which I didn't need) but it's also a fitted style in size small which I normally am but I doubt I can wear it for much longer. Guess it will have to wait until next winter? They don't plan very well and impulsively shop.
We were given quite a few baby things this year and it was so emotional for us. People have really come together to celebrate this LO and we were so overcome by it. We posted this on FB and it just is the best way for us to sum up this holiday.
The past few years have been filled with holidays of emptiness, heartache, reliance on God's bigger plan, and a wonderance of if we would ever know the joy of celebrating a little one of our own at Christmas.
This year, we get to embrace and celebrate a little one who will make their appearance next year. We are so thankful to our family and friends for celebrating with us and showing Bug how loved Bug already is. Seeing baby stuff in Christmas presents and the words "To Baby _______" is more than a dream come true. We are so humbled and awed at people's love and celebration of this little child of God. This Christmas represents a dream I can't even describe.
This infertility journey may not have been what we ever wanted but we are so thankful for this blessing and chance to know this little Bug.

As far as best/favorite gift, I think I was most happy my mom stuck with the plan to only do a Secret Santa and a White Elephant instead of her buying all of us (3 daughters + 3 SOs) multiple presents. My sister got me a new board game I wanted and I've been itching for a new one, so I think that's my favorite this year.
My family did buy things for the baby, too. My mom got out my first stocking she was saving and put small things in it (baby socks, a teether, baby lotion, etc). One sister bought nerdy onesies, which I love. The other bought the illustrated version of the first Harry Potter book to read to baby. I didn't even know they were doing those and it's amazing.

My MIL and I have the same name (frustrating and annoying). Well DHs aunt send gifts and didn't label them clearly enough. One was for "my name" sister and one was for "my name" aunt and one was for me and DH.... I was told to open one that was addressed to sister and it was a blue apron subscription which I've always wanted to try. However my MIL got the email about it and thought we both got it. we figured it out was really meant for her. I don't mind.... But I just wish they wouldn't use cutesy names on the tags. Why use different names for my MIL. Neither were for m. Put my maiden name on things for me. Problem solved. Glad I didn't send a thank you text. That would have been super awkward

Ugh so awkward and annoying! DH and his dad have the same name. FIL goes by the shortened version and so does DH around everyone except his family where they call him the full name to differentiate from his father. The gifts I gave DH at the ILs I had to be sure to label with his full name so we would know who they were for.
