Happy Birthday to Baby Clover! And is it Baby Dizzycooks birthday as well?
Sure is! I took them to the children's museum and a rare trip out to lunch. We also went to play with the legos at the mall. She had a great time! She wanted to make sure I spent enough time with her today so she boycotted her nap.

The kids, dog and I headed up north to the cabin after all. Despite being sick, DD did amazing on the 3 hour car ride. I was so anxious about doing it on my own but it's supposed to snow Sat and Sun. DS has never seen it actually snow so I really wanted him to experience that. My mom is here with us and H is coming up sat night late after work.
silverspoon I hope J starts feeling better soon. Being a FTM I never understood before how awful a sick kid could be. It just makes you feel soooo much for them.

It's only been 2 hours, but I've heard 0 coughing so far. He's sleeping soundly in his crib. BLESS EVERYTHING
I gave him some natural Zarbee's cough medicine (it said 12 mos+) and slathered Vicks on his chest after his bath. Please oh please let this be the magical combo.
Lollipop, I might try the pickle juice, thanks for the tip! Have fun at the GTG! dizzycooks, sounds like a fabulous outing! Happy birthday! crimsonandclover, thank you so much. I think right now taking it away for sleep would be the hardest thing but we may start establishing some hard rules for day time. She is also pretty attached to her pink blankie so maybe that will provide more comfort since I don't plan on taking that away. Happy birthday to your DD3! silverspoon, I feel your and J's pain, we went through this for months until we figured out DD has allergies and put her on daily Zyrtec. Last time she had a cough like this and was throwing up because of it, we got Bromphen and Cephalaxin meds from the ped. Hope things get better soon. kelltothekell, happy birthday to your little girl! The first year is definitely a life-changing adjustment but a beautiful one! scorpioscuba, yay glad you got to go to the cabin and you have your mom to help! Good job H!
I'm doing a little bit better after my surgery but I'm feeling super tired (more than usual) and run down. I also have my second PP AF so I'm sure that has something to do with my yucky mood. DD had a dentist appt this morning and DH took her while I just stayed home and cuddled DS. We ate spaghetti and I could just gobble him up he is so frickin adorable. DD has been very good lately too! We have to go meet my friend for lunch tomorrow and I really don't want to but I know I need to see her.
H came home, got changed, and we went to get last minute Christmas presents for tomorrow. We're going to put M to bed soon, and then I have to wrap the presents. My head is killing me.

Thank you all for the bday wishes! Dd3's bday is today, the 30th. I also remember after she had been taken to the nicu and I was in recovery going to post to announce and seeing rshl's post. Devastating. I've been thinking of her a lot.

Happy Birthday to little Clover!
J is 1 today!
I realized I have zero plans for doing anything special for him today. That's ok. Christmas was a day late. Why not birthday also?
He slept better. Here's hoping he can enjoy today. I'm giving him the cough medicine around the clock today and tomorrow. We'll reevaluate based on symptoms Sunday.
I am having the longest cycle of my entire life right now. My usual cycle length is 24 days and right now I'm on Day No. 30. Even though I have an IUD, I have peed on sticks - they are all negative.
Have you ladies noticed longer cycles as you age? This is just crazy town. I hope my cycles don't get too weird before next May when we start TTC #3.
Today is my dhs bday too so we got up early and had donuts and eggs with him for his bday. He and I are going out tonight so the girls won't see him again until tomorrow morning. My mom offered to keep them this afternoon (just the big two) so I can get some things done. I don't even know where to start. My house is a disaster and I've prepared no food. I actually need to clean out my fridge to make room for party food. I'd love to pick it up tomorrow (Costco pizza and sale) but Costco is insane on Saturday! 18 people in my house is making me nervous. We've done it before, but it always stresses me out.
silverspoon - I wanted my kids to be two years apart - they ended up being two years five months apart - the age gap is working out very well for us. It took us longer than I thought it would to get pregnant.
Thanks for sharing that your cycles are also irregular. It's just irksome.

14joa31 my few cycles I've had in the last SIX years have been shorter. I think 21 days was my shortest, but rarely more than 26...part of the trouble with ttc for us.
