Morning! We're having another mellow day at home. The town should be getting back on its feet today (clearing roads and such). We probably won't go anywhere today again.
Hmm present that DD likes best....hard to say yet, she's been playing with DS's toys or boxes as we're trying to get all of her presents out. She does seem to be enjoying the activity cube that my brother got her, which is something I never would have bought. She likes dinging the doorbell on the playhouse. She got a beats mat thing that I'm sure she'll like once I get it out of the box.
The best moment for us this year was bringing the kids downstairs Christmas morning to see what Santa brought. DD will play with just about anything so she was just kind of there willing to do whatever, but DS is really into it this year. When we went into his room that morning the first thing he said was that he heard Santa's reindeer on the roof while he was sleeping. He was so excited!
Morning. We've had a lazy morning at home. H doesn't have preschool this week so I'm not sure what we will do to fill our time. I keep saying it but I think during nap time I'm going to go through the toy box and take out things H never plays with.
S doesn't really have a favorite thing yet. H got a little people princess castle and she's enjoyed chewing on the people. She was not nearly as into the chase me kitty as I was hoping.
Best present for DS was My Pal Scout. He loves it! I've been putting the bedtime music on for his last bottle of the night to help him relax and settle in for cuddles.
DD's favourite present was probably the vacuum Santa got her.
I think my favourite moment was seeing all the excitement in their eyes when we were opening gifts. So adorable!
Tomorrow I have to go to HR at my work and get put back on the schedule. I don't want to go back to work but I need to for now. It's giving me a lot of feels. Less than 3 weeks left.
Morning! This is the last week that daycare is on vacation. Can't wait to be able to work peacefully!
As for toys her favorite is my new SLIPPERS, more specifically putting little wood blocks into them and then taking them out. She likes the big wood activity cube but gets frustrated easily when she mixes up the balls and blocks and they don't fit in the right holes.
Today should be kind of chill here. Which is good. R slept through the night and didn't wake up until 9. He was clearly exhausted and happy to be home. Sigh of relief.
So far, he loves the stand up piano and the cement truck the best. He's been playing with those nonstop.
He is obsessed with my parents. Every time he saw either of them, he lit up, super excited. It was fun to watch. And with all the stimulation, he's been super cuddly. So, even though the clinginess is annoying at times, I'll take it.
The drywall hanger finished up yesterday. I haven't heard when the next guy comes, the one that does the mudding, taping and texturing. Soon I hope. I thought he was here because a black pick up parked in front of my house and I saw a guy get out but he didn't come up to my house so he must be someone for the neighbors. Bummer.

I'm all kinds of impatient when it comes to projects like this in my home. Hope they can get it done soon!

Hi! X is still sick. I know he feels bad because he's actually sleeping on the couch. He hasn't done this since he was a newborn. Even if he wakes up, he just stares at me until he falls asleep again.
I'm catching up on Teen Mom's check ups that I never watched. My butt is asleep.

So far his favorite is the Mega blocks wagon. Not the actual blocks, just the wagon to push around. He also got a Few Thomas trains and loves them. He wasn't too nuts about the whole thing but my nieces reactions to stuff was awesome. "NEW CLOTHES MUMMY THANK YOU FOR MY NEW CLOTHES!!" Amazing
I think Ryan's EI might be back or didn't clear up entirely. His doctors hours are booked so I have to call Thursday for an appointment. He hasn't been feverish at least but a little whiney and grabbing his ears more than normal
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
Hi ladies I'm trying to catch up on This Is Us. Worked last night, so kids are at school. I should be cleaning. I'm not. Best present for L is the play kitchen. She stands at it for an hour and just sips out of the cups, then puts them in the fridge and takes them out. She also loves anything C is playing with. He is obsessed with his garbage truck. It's loud and annoying but he laaaaaughs and it is my favorite. Best moment was him getting up. He really didn't understand what was happening (or believe it would, maybe). So he was SO BLOWN AWAY. He kept saying "mama, he came! The cookies are gone!! He drank the milk!!" It was adorable.

DD has pink eye. The drops she was prescribed were $80 after insurance! Hopefully she is cured before we run out - that was for a 3 mL bottle.
It seems her favorite Christmas gift is this stupid horse my dad got her. If you squeeze the left ear, it neighs and "gallops" forward. If you squeeze the right ear it shakes its tail and sings a song. Hopefully the novelty wears off soon.

I wonder if DD got the same horse. She LOVES it and laughs hysterically while putting her nose to the tail.
I am making really good progress organizing my office. All my drawers/shelves have been organized and I went through all our paper files. I started to move stuff to my new purse and realized that I can't find my ray-ban sun glasses that H got me for my birthday. He is going to lose his mind if I lost them. FX they are at my ILs. They're in SC moving things for SIL so I'm going over their house tomorrow while H is at work so I can search. Anyway, I'm almost done and this room will finally be vacuumed after like 6 months of neglect.
DS is cutting 2 teeth and was up every 2 hours, but he slept for 2 hours in the car so that helped. Favourite gift is I think the wheels on the bus book with music, but we're doing another round of gifts tomorrow so we'll see.

ok all caught up! what a week, I love my mom but by day 10 i was ready to come home and see DH. He ended up coming down on the 23rd, we did the christmas juggle and tried to see as many as we could. Had Xmas hell with my Brother (the one with the AWFUL gf and evil child) this year. also bonus they are pregnant and expecting in May so looks like we are stuck with them, so much wrong with their relationship and so much venting this past week. He is not ready to be a Dad. Been sick the last couple days and glad that DH has taken the main role with DD I am exhausted and just want to lay in bed all day. We have had freezing rain the last couple days so glad to be staying put and not having to leave the house for a few days if we don't want to. I hope everyone had a great christmas and the count down is on for all our babies turning 1 (if they haven't already) is it dreadpiratebuttercup DD birthday today?!?! i hope we didn't miss it!

Fortunately I think she is moving on already. She smiles at the beginning of the song, but by the time it gets to the second verse, she starts pushing it away.
