I want to continue on my fitness journey and start to see real results. I was seeing awesome results up until my BFP and loss. I'm slowly getting back in the groove. Unless otherwise instructed, I'm hoping to be consistent and complete this round and finish a second round of Hammer & Chisel- I love this program.
I want to consistently cook dinner at home, and bring my lunches to work 4 days a week. We eat out ALL the time, and I need to quit. But I also need to not be wasteful with buying groceries for the two of us.
MrsRC-33, MrRC-37. TTC#1 since 2/13. DX: T2 diet controlled diabetic, removed multiple fibroids blocking tubes, via robotic myomectomy, hysteroscopy and D&C on 5/15. CD3 b/w normal. HSG normal after surgery. On the bench April-June 2015. NTNP indefinitely. Loss mentioned.
I need to work on my self esteem issues. That not only means working on things about my body that I can actually fix (such as weight) but also accepting and learning to love the things that I can't (such as my looks in general!)
In 2017 I also need to actively make major changes in my life. Stay tuned for that one!
And at a minimum I want to bike 25 miles per week. If I go in one nice ride a week, that should be easy.
I also need to deal with my diet. With chronic illness, cooking is just something that zaps energy even more rather than something I enjoy. And I used to love it. Cooking and diet obviously go hand in hand. And over 50 of my former 80 pound weight loss happened solely because of eating a mostly paleo type diet over the course of 5 months. I wasn't able (ok, I was scared) to exercise at all because of weird symptoms I was having (frequent skipped heartbeats). I've gained back 40 pounds. If I am dedicated enough and combine the diet and the exercise, in theory I should lose so much more! So that's a huge goal for me!
I have some goals tied to organization and cleaning, but my big one is health related. I'm going to start and stick to a regular workout schedule and clean up my eating. I gained 30lbs between my second and third loss and have been holding steady at a very uncomfortable weight since. I want to be comfortable in my own skin again, get rid of these aches and pains, and have energy.
