Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am 4w5d today, due September 2nd. A great Christmas surprise! I have one son, who is 18 months old. During my pregnancy with him I was dilating at 24 weeks, had an emergency cerclage, and then did bed rest for 3 months. Soooo fingers crossed this pregnancy will be better. Anticipating progesterone, preventative cerclage, and pelvic rest
My favorite things are mashed potatoes, red wine, and kate spade sales.
I am very glad to join you all and look forward to lots of laughs and love!

Welcome and congrats!
I lost my last pregnancy at 16 weeks. We still aren't sure what happened as we had seen him on an ultrasound days before and he was even measuring ahead. So I'm already on progesterone and will have a preventative cerclage placed as well. I had pre-e with dd, so hoping that isn't added to the mix this time around.

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. That is heartbreaking. I lost my daughter 3 years ago to trisomy 18 at 24 weeks and it still feels like a piece of me is missing. I am picking up my progesterone from the pharmacy as we speak. Sending you lots of good vibes, cerclage buddy!

I'm so sorry for your loss! I too am on progesterone and I'm also on estridol as well. I hate the side effects, but if it keeps the bean in there, I'll just keep stocking up on the pantyliners!

Ummm side effects? I will be taking P-1s twice a day, and the bottle just says drowsiness and dizziness. Is there something else I should be aware of? Advance warnings please!

Mine are suppositories, so you can use your imagination. I've got bloat, emotional ups & downs, the dizziness, the sleepiness...... and insomnia. Ugh.

my first cycle on progesterone (i took it while ttc from O until cd 1) was the worst with the emotional ups and downs. The bloating Is terrible though...I look 3 months pregnant right now. Not sure what I'm going to do when I go back to work next week and actually have to put "real" clothes on haha. I also think it heightens my nausea. & forgot to use mine this morning and my nausea hasn't been bad today (which freaks me out naturally).

Oh dear :S I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms at all yet and in previous pregnancies my nausea hasn't started till closer to 6 weeks. Sounds like it could be time to stock up on saltines and ginger tea....
