Did they strip him and look for a hair tied around a toe or something?
No. But I think DCP was overreacting because he was acting fine in the evening. If I would have waited until today to see if I should take him in, I wouldn't have. Even though we were up a lot last night, he doesn't seem to be in pain.
DH just informed me that he can't find his wedding ring... followed by the fact that it's been missing for two days. Glad he had to have the $600 version and not the $45 one. He's pretty sure he left it on the bathroom counter so at this point it could be in any random place a toddler sees fit.
H lost his last year. He thinks he threw it out because sometimes he puts it in his pocket if he's doing something with his hands and then throws out all the garbage in his pockets. It wasn't expensive and we got the same thing on Amazon for cheap.
I've been sick since last Wed. I'm finally starting to feel better, but still groggy. I'm hoping I can get exercise back in today. Since the holidays, I've eaten nothing but crap.
I woke so much last night and I was super dizzy. I am tired today. Did drop off for the first time in like a year. I don't like it. She looked so sad. I know she has fun but man.

Went to bed earlier than I usually do because I was exhausted. Slept most of the night, and the baby woke me up at a somewhat resonable time and yet I'm still exhausted. I think the sleep deprivation fro mm the last week has finally caught up to me.

Yeah his pocket and trash was the other option. We'll see if it turns up but if not we'll be going to amazon too. I never realized how much he took it off (to shower, working in garage, etc). I pretty much never take mine off. Isn't this normal?

I take mine off more than DH does. I take it off to shower and to sleep as well as when I'm cooking with raw meat or cleaning bathrooms.

MH does the same thing. I just started taking mine off when I get home from work and change into comfy clothes. But I always put them in the box. Not sure why I started to do that but it's habit now.

I never wear mine unless I'm leaving the house. DH wears his more than me, because he only takes it off to wash his hands / shower. But I don't really wear any jewelry at home.
I just signed DS up for soccer. I wonder how much it will resemble soccer and how much it will resemble a bunch of two year olds running aimlessly with a soccer ball somewhere in the vicinity. I'm thinking the latter... But we need an indoors activity to keep DS busy on weekends in the winter.

We did this over the summer and I guarantee it will be the latter. I have video of him dribbling the ball off into the distance, trying to get geese.

This actually sounds really fun
I think it'll be adorable and DS will have a lot of fun. I just doubt how much "soccer" will be played!
I got an email for LivingSocial Escapes and there is one for Costa Rica that looks like it's to die for. It is for a week and includes pretty much everything (flight, hotel, car, most meals, excursions/tours). I want to look into this.

I figured. But as long as DS has fun and it wears him out, that's good enough. We realized this weekend that we need more to do with DS during the day on the weekends to wear him out and it's hard to find something in the winter. Otherwise getting him down for bed takes forever. Also, there's only so much MMCH I can take in a day... I found a soccer place that is indoors so it's all year round. I figured we'll try one session and if he hates it, it's not too much of a loss. And if he loves it, we can do it again.

This is what I miss most since having DS. I LOVE to travel and we did a ton before we had DS. But I'm in travel withdrawal now. DH said I should go away on my own and he'll watch DS. It's a great offer (and he's only doing it because he wants to go on a guy's hiking trip in the spring) and sometimes going away alone sounds appealing but I have to be conscious of the cost and it can't be too far because it'd only be a long weekend.
My friend who has never had to worry about money is pushing me to book a Disney Cruise ASAP. Not gonna happen. They don't make it as easy for FL residents like the parks do. Plus, kid and the house still needing work. I'd love to do a cruise, but now is not the time and neither is next year or the year after that.

Yea in my excitement I seem to have forgotten I have a breastfeeding infant. Sigh.

Maybe next year? I'm dying to get away without the kids, but it's not likely to happen anytime soon.
Everyone on my Facebook feed is going to Disney for marathon weekend. I'm so jealous and trying hard not to sign up for any races right now. Must resist...
