We are supposed to get snow again tomorrow. I would be super excited except we are also supposed to be getting an ice storm on top of it. They are forecasting a half inch to an inch of ice and warning to be prepared to be without power for a couple days. Wtf?!
And my H complained that I was "stressing him out needlessly" when I told him he should get his work done today instead of prepping his job on Sunday like he had originally planned.

DD1 is finally healthy again, so now I'm waiting for DD2 or DD3 to get sick... I really hope everybody just stays healthy for a while so that I can do DD3's adjustment period! I have so many plans for when I have no kids for a few hours every day and before I have to go back to work in April!!!
Thank you all for your wisdom and support. His doctor isn't really concerned. We'll just see where he is at his next appointment. I worry about his intake because it seems like he doesn't eat much. We aren't cutting formula out (we did cut down) yet and his doc said that's fine for a little while longer.
Mobility probably does have something to do with it. He doesn't walk, but once he started crawling he never stopped moving. He's the busiest little guy, even in his sleep. It seems like every time I check the monitor he's at a different end of his crib.
We had an ice storm too. And then a dusting of snow on top. It seems no matter how far south I move, the snow follows me. Have fun organizing and birthday partying and weekending!

I am organizing today too! I have always wanted to create a family command center type space to house shoes, bags, jackets, Mail, keys, a calendar, etc. all the crap that gets dumped in various places around the house. I finally had an epiphany this morning and already ran to target for the necessary supplies. Hopefully by the end of the day it will be complete! I'm so excited. Then I just need to clean and organize the pantry before the nanny starts.
Man we have had so many days of heavy snow recently. I just went to grocery shop and five times had to slow down to under 10mph because the visibility went from just bad to absolutely nothing. So glad I left the babe at home. It was scary. Also I grocery shopped hungry. Mistake! Good thing I bought mostly veg.
Lollipop I don't think you're being a nag. I don't think you should feel bad (though I understand). Your dh should not be asking you to spend more time alone at home. He should be encouraging you to get out and then help you make it happen. He should be spending time at home with you and the kids. kcrkcs props to you for hitting the grocery store. I would not have bothered in that weather. scorpioscuba and silverspoon pictures??
Guys I'm in a low place tonight. I just feel blah. I can't really explain why.
I don't remember where you live but I know the no sun bad weather kills me. Seasonal affective disorder is real! What else do you have going on? Whatever it is pamper yourself. Even if it's just a long hot shower preferably with adult beverage. Or I can attempt to find you amusing internet pictures.
dizzycooks maybe the weather? Winter can be very blah. I love snow, but these ultra cold/cloudy days are getting old.
I'm currently in the "everything is a mess and there are piles of stuff everywhere" stage of organizing.
So I'm drinking a glass of wine and going to bed early.
My brother is coming over tomorrow to help H put the Ikea stuff together. Bless him for having no plans. Now, if I can just convince the tiny dictator to play by himself and let me clean/put stuff away.

Cheer up dizzycooks and @lollipopb! Anything we can do? Need to vent?
I'm drinking wine and eating peppermint bark while the kids take a bath. My organizing was successful so far. Part of the command center is done (pics to come!). I need to go to Staples tomorrow. I also cleaned out 3 junk drawers and I have a trash bag of stuff to throw away. And another trash bag from cleaning out my office yesterday. I love throwing shit away.
crimsonandclover , FX everyone stays healthy! kcrkcs , stay safe in the snow, glad L was home. silverspoon , I'm glad YH has help tomorrow, hope everything goes smoothly! Lollipop , have fun at the movies! Cheer up mama. dizzycooks , awww I hope you rest up tonight and wake up more refreshed. I completely blame the weather (and sometimes MH) on my blah moods. NellieOleson forgot to mention your dad. Holy moly! So mortifying. Be safe in the ice. scorpioscuba , look at those babes! I love how calm they are together in the tub. I cannot put both of mine in together because DD is crazy and gets DS riled up too and eventually someone will get hurt. Ugh. Maybe in a few years, lol. kelltothekell can't wait to see pics!
I'm dragging today. The last two nights DD has been waking up in the middle of the night and calling out mama and I have been sleeping with her for part of the night. Except she's been tossing and turning a lot and falls asleep literally on top of me. It's getting ridiculous. Hopefully we break this pattern soon. We had music class in the morning and then went to indoor play and then met DH for lunch. DD went home with him for the afternoon and I went to my mom's house with DS. DH is packing now and I'm drinking wine out of the bottle, ignoring his side eye.
scorpioscuba - phew! So I am not the only mama who has a glass while the kids bathe .... kcrkcs - you are officially the president and founder of the cheering up society!! Those memes are awesome!!
DH thought he was getting laid tonight- then he complained to me about something I did. Fuck that. No sexy time for you!! Take thy complaints elsewhere!
kcrkcs I appreciate it. Dh is in a mood and I am not in the mood to deal with it. It's frickin cold out and has been for a week. SAD is a real thing and while I don't think I have it, I know my mood suffers in the winter. I'd be wise to go south at some point, but it's not gonna happen. I think part of the problem is Dh is usually home on weekends and he had to go in to the office unexpectedly today. I ended up pulling all the weight this afternoon and evening and I wasn't in the mood.
