The nickname concern is one of mine as well. I keep hearing people say if you never call them the nn then no one else will, but I'm not so sure. If a family member calls them Greg, are you comfortable correcting them? I do like Gregory. Jonah is on my list too.

marshian I have no problem correcting people. I actually grew up with my mom doing the same thing for my brother's name. So they're very respectful of that.
Hey! Congrats on deciding!! Do you have any family names you want to use?
Thanks. It's a huge relief. Haha
And not really but middle names should be "relatively" easy. DH gave me free reign pretty much on the middle spot if I went with a "normal" first name.
I prefer nature-y and/or really uncommon. DD's is Rose.
Not many nature names for boys are jumping out at me other than Forrest unless they are really uncommon, like maybe River. If you like Irish names, I would go that route.
Great choice! It sounds wonderful with your daughter's name too.
Nature names I can think of off hand (if you want suggestions): Fox Hawthorn Wolf Alder Crow Sage Oak Glenn Frost Birch Sequoia Bramble Dune Fennel Brook/Brooks Cove Thorn Moor
