Oh, and I discovered that doll house furniture is the devil. I was in DD's room organizing, when I stepped on a little chair. It completely gouged the middle of my foot. It was almost as bad as Lego related foot injuries.
FFFC/UO: I hate old movies. I just can't. The character and plot development, the acting, the stunt choreography... it's like they're not even trying. Awful.
I'm grumpy. Tomorrow I was planning to go out of town shopping with my mom and H would be home with the kids. Tonight he got a work call that he needs to go fix something out of town tomorrow morning. So guess who gets to cancel plans and stay home. H was just gone Sun-Wed and has a lot of weekends coming up this month and next that he'll be busy. So I'm just annoyed. I know it's for work and not his fault but I rarely get any time.
As for DD and babbling, she uses a lot of jibberish these days. There's been a couple times she's made a "key" sound to imitate when I've said "kitty" and she's saying "hi" constantly. Like you look at her and she says "hi!" All.day.long. It's so cute. When we've done bye-bye (waving) I think she's said bye, but she's so soft spoken at times I can't tell if she's saying hi or bye. I think bye. She babbles mama and dada and N sounds as well. I think she tries to actually say daddy because I've also heard a "die" sound come out several times, so I think it's daddy just in one syllable.
Is there anyone else that could watch the kids? Your MIL or one of your siblings? It sucks to have to cancel your day.

I watched "I Know What You Did Last Summer" a couple years ago when it was on tv. I used to be so scared during that movie and now? It's soooo bad!

Right away I told him to find a sitter because I was going. He asked his mom and she said she was packing up her parents (they are moving into assisted living next week) so they could come over to their house with her, but I don't want her to have to do that. Trying to pack them (which is probably ALL breakables) and have the kids there, just isn't ideal. So I'm staying home. I was hoping my mom would say ok let's go Sunday instead, but she didn't. She is the one that needed to go in the first place and sounds like she's still going today.
