trtlcrzy My coworker/friend got an Apple Watch and returned it after a week or two because she missed her Fitbit so she got the Fitbit Blaze and loves it. It's kinda like the Apple Watch but with a few less features.
We watched the lion king this evening. It was my favorite movie in 5th grade. God, the animation is so dated...It's like it was made 20 years ago, oh wait.
(Also a little scary, J did enjoy the stampede though - he called it a parade)
It's a running joke around here that I am the least interested in technology, and it shows with all the techie crap MH has bought me over the years that accumulated into a box that was organized during the purge of 2016. It just sits there.
So what does he get me for Christmas, a fitbit flex 2. Its 2 weeks past Christmas and it sits on the counter in an unopened box.
Slow clap for you H.
Should I open it or return it? Can I be part if your clique you've got going on here? LMK.
Everyone (except me) slept in and then DH made pancakes. I made a second cup of coffee and put MMCH on TV while DH got dressed and somehow we conned him into doing the grocery shopping solo while I stay home in maternity leggings with the boys. And he thinks he's got it good because I promised to put away the groceries.
It's not even 10am and I'm already winning the day.
It's 7:40am and my tyrant toddler is still sleeping. I'm so confused.
My toddler (who I joke could teach a class on sleep bc he's such a good sleeper) suddenly decided he likes to wake up early. Yesterday it was 6 am, today 5:35. I'm not liking the trend. Of course I got the baby down from MOTN feeding at 4:30 so I was not amused. Oh, and baby decided to sleep till 8 but I couldn't take advantage of it bc of Sam.

19 more days till MH comes home...
M, who is also a pretty good sleeper even though he goes to bed later than most, woke up a few times this week way early too! He normally will sleep until 9 if we let him but he had been getting up around 630-7 this past week. So weird. Today was the first that he actually slept until his normal time.
I hope throngs get better on the sleep front for you. Hang in there.

Sorry for a rough night tgrimes1980. I hope you get some long naps out of them today. You all need one.
Hope you are okay from your fall last night wedding.
vinolove I was about to say return it and get something you will enjoy, but it looks like that is the UO. Join us... and by us, I mean them because I haven't been active for 4 months now😕.

Got my first "stupid Mommy" this morning. Way to break my heart in the morning kid. She got a talk about how we don't use that word and we certainly don't call people that.
I came down with something yesterday afternoon; I feel like I've been hit by a truck + queasy stomach.
DH has been great... until he decides today is the perfect day to clean out the garage. Like, remove everything, sort, pitch, etc. this involves getting my opinion on items, etc. Do not care. He gets so laser-focused on getting something done by a self-imposed deadline, and it's like, could this not wait? We have plenty of room, we can fit both cars in...you just wanted to scratch your organizational itch.
As soon as C finishes nursing I'm passing her off and locking the bedroom door.
ETA: he's getting out of the shower and tells me, "it doesn't LOOK like I did anything, but I did". :Rage:
It felt like we'd never get here, but both boys taking their afternoon naps at the same time is giving me life. I feel like we're finally getting to more of an enjoyable existence than merely surviving.
Speaking of, Chase's New Year's resolution was no more pacifier except for naps and bedtime. So clearly he's now cutting 2 more teeth! We haven't caved, but there have certainly been moments...

My Fitbit doesn't sync anymore. I think about getting a new one, but I really like it for the heartbeat monitor. I feel like when I get caught up in the challenges, it hurts me more than helps me. Meaning, I don't exercise to get the most steps, I try to do weights and burn calories in ways I burn throughout the day. No shade to people that like the challenges, I just always think they distract me from my goals.

Have you tried doing a full reset on your Fitbit? Mine wasn't syncing for a while so I had to delete it from the app, reset and resync it.

I just sent MH and M out to a birthday party. The kid made it clear he didn't want to go, he wanted to stay inside. We've been inside since Friday after his doctors appointment. His fever finally broke last night, so I figured he would like to go have fun with some friends today. I told Mh if he melts down and won't calm down at the party to just bring him back home. I know he would have been more agreeable if I went with him, but I'm not feeling so hot today and he has been wanting to be on me all day, so it's a much needed break. I just feel a little guilty about it😕.

We're supposed to go eat dinner at SIL's house. Mh didn't give me a time so I'm sitting on the couch in pjs watching kids baking championship. I don't really want to go, but I know Cadence likes playing with her kids.
So since my kid peed on the floor yesterday, he has used the toilet all the time except over night. I'm super happy. I tried so hard then I quit and he did it on his own. Hopefully it will continue at the sitters tomorrow.
He also tells knock, knock jokes. He says "knock, knock." I say "who's there?" Then he cracks up. He doesn't get there is a second part to the joke.

I did a live chat with FitBit when mine was not syncing. I had to plug it into a computer to fix it.

I have. But I don't know if I deleted the app. I need to try again.
