A friend of mine recommended the children's book The Tomten and the Fox. I read this description of it:
'A beautifully illustrated tale adapted from an old Swedish poem. The Tomten, who looks after the farm at night, meets a hungry fox and agrees to share his supper with him if the fox promises to leave the hens alone. A very gentle, friendly story. It is refreshing that he understands that the fox is hungry and needs to eat - rather than the 'nasty fox' approach. The children I have read this to loved it.'
and thought of cagoldi because it's basically about a fox who becomes a vegetarian.
Haha.
Before I got to the bottom and saw the tag I was reading the description and thought it sounds like a great book.
