Gardening Season has begun in the PNW. It is sunny, warm and I am about to start the garden clean up. You least favorite part but it has got to be done.
I am sure the dogs will help.

I'm jealous that you can garden right now! I've been doing some soil prep, but we got more snow today so even that is on hold for a bit. And the average last frost is the end of May...I'm getting restless to be in the dirt!

I am straight up getting several yards of dirt delivered very soon.

The weather was incredible today. I didn't have time to do much more than pull a few weeds and some of last season's carrots, but it still felt like I got something accomplished. Baby steps, I guess.

My stone patio is overrun with weeds. I have about 200 sf to weed.

I am incredibly jealous right now. We still have about three feet of snow, and the current temperature is -18Fwith the windchill.

rubysi have you tried pouring vinegar on the weeds between the patio stones? We do that with the unilock and it works pretty well.

I'm with the snow ladies. We got a fucking blizzard on Friday and Saturday. 9 inches fell and drifted like crazy. Spring is feeling so far away right now

Yup, I'm in the deep freeze so my starts will be inside for a good while!

rubysi, nice! I want to get a hammock for our yard. My only concern is what to do with it during winter: do I leave the frame out to get snowed on, or do I need to take it apart and put it in the garage?
