I am going to Dollarama tomorrow to try to find better containers to hold tea towels and magic erasers and dishwasher detergents.
I seem to have tons of supplies, but also black garbage bags and white kitchen bags and then things like vacuum bags and Brita filters. I don't know what is the best container to house various objects that are different sizes. Will update in the afternoon once I figure something out.
I'm pretty organized, but even my kitchen sink area is a mess. I'd look into tiered shelves. Or something like this. I know you don't have Target, just an idea.

I saw a couple options like that at Home Depot but they were crazy expensive. I would love to find it somewhere else.

I need to track down some of these! My closet is a disaster and I just keep avoiding it. So much to get rid of and so much to reorganize but so overwhelmed

Are you handy footloose? You could nail together a simple shelf for under there, then you'll have 2 levels for bins/storage. For my classroom, I just nailed 4 legs to a small wooden board for a simple shelf. Not the cutest, but pretty practical.
The thing that makes it hard to find containers big enough for my stuff but still able to fit in the area is that I have a double sink so two big pipes and to the left is the pipe to the dishwasher.
This is my one and only lower cabinet, it holds all of my 3 pots with lids, 3 pans, a colander, and a couple cake pans. Who's got a better way for me?
We have a pot rack that hangs from the wall. I hated it at first but like it now because it's easy to take one out and put it back. Our pans are stacked in the drawer under the stove.
Not really organization but I am committed to going through my clothes and accessories and getting rid of a lot that I don't wear.
To start that I went through my jewelry and tossed a ton. I just don't wear much anymore and my ears don't tolerate poor quality earrings so away went all my accessories from my early 20s, going-out phase. Probably all from Forever 21 of sumshit. Felt good.
This is embarrassing but I found a bag of old bras in my closet. These were my A-cup, pre boob job bras. I got my boobs done in Maryland in 2011. So I not only kept this bag of unusable bras, but I actually packed them and moved back to IL with them. I'm ashamed.
microworm, I have the same issue with jewelry. I went through it and sorted out what I don't wear anymore but it's still sitting on my dresser. Did you just throw it out or did you donate it? I don't know if Goodwill would take it...

I just threw it out. The stuff was poor quality. It was mostly earrings that I tossed, which I'm pretty sure Goodwill wouldn't take, because, gross.

Good point. I just feel guilty tossing it.
I looked on Goodwill's website and they do take jewelry. I can see just throwing out the earrings but for bracelets and necklaces, which I have a ton, this makes me feel better.
I finished! I had to drive super far to Bed, Bath and Beyond since their website said they had this 2 tiered shelf, but the bottom part would have been too short for my cleaners.
I did find 3 small drawers to stack though. Then went to Dollarama for a few other pieces and then repurposed a couple baskets and really decluttered my tea towels and cleaners. So Ta Da!!
I cleaned out some more of my pantry last night and cleared off a couple of shelves to store some small appliances that I never have room for.
Also, started on the area leading down to the basement stairs that is always cluttered. I went through my shoes and Peyton's bibs and receiving blankets and stuff and found way more to donate!
Now pinned some ideas for cool corner shelves to use with some baskets to utilize the wall space up high more thoroughly. On a roll now

I need to get into my sewing room and clean and organize it. It's cold outside and there's no heat in there except a small space heater. Maybe I'll do that next weekend during naptime.
scout251 I am just jealous of anyone who even HAS a linen closet. I had to buy a big trunk when I moved in and put it in my bathroom to hold my towels.

All of my sheets must be kept in both bedrooms.
+1 we have one set of sheets because no storage. DD has two spare that go with pjs
we did some crazy sorting and tidying this weekend. Went through the file cabinet and got rid of so much useless paperwork, H cleaned out and organised his closet, I practically emptied all the draws in the living room, went through DS closet and dresser, and we emptied and organised the bathroom cabinets.
Ok did my cabinet beside stove. It was a mess and just had to force myself to do it. Left side
Right side
Done!
Those white plastic bowls up top are 3 nesting bowls with black lids. Do not care that they are like over 20 years old. They are my favourite to make a big pasta salad to mix in and then can take to potluck or right in the fridge!
