Hi all! We're home today because daycare is closed. L had a fever all weekend. It seems to be gone now, but I made a doctors appointment anyways. I can't decide if that's over the top or not, since she's seemingly better.

Hmmm, I'm normally the person who's more paranoid about them picking up germs in the dr's office and so rarely takes her kid in. But trust your instincts. If you think something might be up don't hesitate.

Every time I've brought her in, something's been wrong. I have a feeling this will be the first time they'll say there's nothing I can do but wait it's course. But we're going on day 4 of a fever, so being told she's fine feels like a plus.
I'll keep you all posted on the side eye I get from the doctor. Lol.
Good for you McBgg21! If you stop working out, slack off too much or binge eat those workouts basically will have been for nothing, so your logic is sound. Whatever keeps you motivated! I remember watching an episode of Cribs with Will Sasso and he kept a picture of himself at his heaviest in his fridge to help him stop overeating. I am not an overeater so I didnt put one in my fridge, but I put a picture of myself on the wall at the foot of my bed with a calendar to mark completed workouts on so I couldn't ignore it. Every morning or night I had to face my success or shortcomings. It may not be for everyone but it definitely helped motivate me.
So, no side eye. The doctor is concerned about how sick she looks. Usually I feel vindicated (DH is always team there's nothing wrong), but I wasn't that concerned either so now I feel horrible.
I finally called EI for N's speech... the ped said at her 18 m apt that he wasn't worried and that she was right on track, but that if I was still worried in 2-3 months then to call. It's been 2 months and she's shown little to no improvement. She will find new words, use them a handful of times, and then completely forget about them. She no longer says more, milk, up, down, nigh-nigh, hi... she still has all her animal sounds and has actually found more animal sounds... and she's been getting more and more frustrated by her inability to talk. So I called. I'm excited and really hopeful that they'll help her find some words!
EI is an amazing thing! I'm so glad you're excited about it.
I've seen it do incredible things first hand with my niece! I'm very excited
Hi guys! Just skimmed through and barging back in.
CatLady I'm sorry she's so sick, glad you listened to your mom instincts!
McBgg21 good luck keeping up with your workout schedule! Getting up early on top of everything else in the day is so hard but it will be worth it!
We have some of those kids gyms here too I was thinking DD would be a good age to start going, glad to hear everyone's LOs enjoy it.
So, I'm 39 weeks and after much deliberation decided on a RCS this Thursday! I'll be sure to keep you guys posted and of course add some squish pics 😊 DD is excited for baby sister but truly has no idea what's coming.
obi didn't want to bump the other thread but I'd be happy to share my experience with my RCS when it's over, just remind me 😊 I will say going into it this time I'm expecting a much better experience being scheduled, even though it's not my ideal situation.
