Sad state of affairs when virtually all news of his administration has to be prefaced with "NOT SATIRE."
LOL. Funny, sad and true but also funny..
I still like the idea of Obama resigning 1 day early to make Biden the 45th president to screw up Trumps merchandise. I think thats the best idea ever lol.
Baby hands would really set Twitter ablaze that day!

You've heard the Fiona Apple chant for the March, right? "We don't want your tiny hands anywhere near our underpants"
Sunny41 - I find driving in NYC to be stressful already... I am not comfortable adding pumping while driving to it. And I will never find a parking spot in midtown at that time of day, it will have to be a garage.
trtlcrzy - funny, I did not get any with B. I got one of those bags with S but it was beat up after 2 years and I threw it out. I do have a little cooler bag but it's what I use to bring the milk to DC. Maybe I'll just take it with me after I deliver the milk and through the little hand pump along with that bag in my purse. That's a good idea.
Thanks
I meant pumping while parked in a garage.
Ah sorry - in NYC when you pull into the garages they immediately take your car. There's no way to stay in it while parked
Haha, same. B asks me, "Are you happy, mama?" when he does something good. He's also started doing it when he messes up. I feel like it's probably something he heard at preschool from a teacher so now I'm on the receiving end 1000x a day. When I'm not happy, I'll tell him, but reaffirm that I love him, etc.
He also likes to tell me I'm his best friend, both under good circumstances and when he's getting into trouble. I'm onto you, kid!
Twins! I tell Atticus, "I'm not happy with this behavior."
He always says, "I want you to be happy, mama!"
Whenever I yell at Sam and tell him he needs to listen he gets all sad and starts to cry and says ' but I WANT to listen!' I'm like - well then just do it, kid!
I've been so flipped flopped on my days and nights it almost feels like I should have newborn in the house. I've been working too many night shifts! We're pretty busy in the unit right now and the overtime is hard to pass up. I've been reading and LTing where I can
Dude has a fever and became lethargic. He's complaining of ear pain. I wasn't able to leave the house in time for my doctor's appointment and it will be months before I can get a new one.
73jewels, I think you should be fine just pumping when you get back to your office. It's only a couple hours past your normal pumping time. You could sneak another pump right before you go home to make up for the missed milk if you need it for daycare. Fresh milk room temp is good for 5 hours, no need to bring a cooler.

lfigge good lord that's free. I made $7-10 an hour babysitting in middle school..Over 20 years ago!
I just broke down how much it is by day for mine and the going rate would only cover 1/3 of the day. That's one reason why we do daycare and not a nanny!
One of FIL's dogs is sick, very sick. Pete and I have to go put her down tomorrow afternoon.
He planned to do it today, but apparently he was just going to drop her off and be done with it?! Um, no. Unacceptable. So if he wasn't able to leave her alone for the euthanasia he is unwilling to do it and she gets to suffer another day.

We pay $50.20 a day. Although, I did notice on Monday it showed my balance as $7 less than it should have been. I wonder if the price went down and they forgot to tell me.
We pay 30 per day per kid. so 60 total. 85 a day for one kid sounds insane to me.
N will be $85 a day when she starts in March. J is down to $55ish. I am counting the minutes until she gets into J's next summer and the price goes down.

Our price went down when he hit 3 years old b/c the ratios change.

Well, our price went down when she entered the preschool class, but that was in Oct., so it shouldn't go down again until she enters the pre-k class next year.

Same, plus we get 10% off of Col's fees since we have a 2nd kid enrolled now. So our ~$120 per day is probably close to a $50/$70 split at this point.
I'm afraid to think about how much it comes to a day. Definitely not $2 per hour or whatever that was. I think a while ago I did the math and it was like $80 per day (this was just for one kid). But we are billed by the month and pay by the month b/c it doesn't matter how many days we take off.
We get a 5% discount for having a second child in there and the discount is off the lesser amount.
