I'm having a FTM moment and worrying whether I'm having real contractions or BH. They're uncomfortable, but not timeable or anything. I don't think I had BH with H.
Where the heck is mcncheese ?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!
Also, it is way too cold. We are supposed to get snow etc today. AND they said. Friday (i think) the low is only 1 degree. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDINGME?!?!?! I LIVE IN THE SOUTH FOR A REASON! i don't do cold.
ssm here I am!!!!!!!!! I'm being yelled at for not poas yet. If I can get out of the house today I'll do it tomorrow morning! For all of those interested in my ute
But it's so fucking cold here and it's so icey! Ugh I'm ready for spring, but my fat legs are not!
I already want the day to be over with. My boss is on vacation this week (yay!) and of course a gazillion things go wrong today. DD woke up screaming at 5:30 this morning and was inconsolable. I think her molars are bothering her so I gave her some Motrin before we left for daycare. I hope she can make it through the day.
mcncheese, oh...well then I shall stop bugging you until Friday. Pee on all the things on Friday...k? mrsp, :-( I think we should all just go home and crawl under the covers. Today sucks. end of story

Good Morning Ladies! Sorry for all of you in the freezing temps. It's going to get cold here but it's Florida so our cold is nothing like everyone else's cold. I think the whole family is finally stomach virus free, though apparently now DD has a cold so we can expect that to go around next. Oh joy.
Oh, it gets better! The boilers went out in the office over the weekend (great timing) and they just turned them on. I thought I was the only one freezing in here. I got an e-mail saying that they're up and running but with the outside temp it will take a while to warm up. AWESOME!

Its frigid here too, but thankfully I think the snow is going to be south of me, which is kind of baffling. DS has been super clingy lately. Its really hard to try to put pants on while holding 24 pounds of child. That is what my life has come too. And I also think DS is a night terror child. He had what I think was one last Wednesday night and another while he was at my moms Saturday night. Anyone else dealing with or have experience with these?
heyitsmamac Have the BH stopped? I've had them way more this time than I ever did with Haden.
Nope. All morning. It feels more like mild menstrual cramps though so I don't know if it's BH or not. I don't know what to think.
Eeeehhhh....BH should really just be a tightening across your lower abdomen. Could definitely be uncomfortable but shouldn't be painful. They should typically resolve if you drink water, shift positions, walk around, etc.
If it's consistent and won't go away and feels more like menstrual cramps, definitely keep an eye on it. Have you tried timing lately? I would be, if I was you. Just to be safe.
I have the day off work since I work for the government. I scheduled a dental appointment this morning to get two fillings and just got back from that appointment. LO is at daycare and the day is now mine! I'm way more excited about this then I should be.....

Work is crazy busy right now so I don't have time to time them lol. I know they're not consistent enough to worry right now and I get off work in an hour and a half. My regular contractions with H felt like menstrual cramps which is why I'm a little worried, but I guess we'll see. I'm not feeling anything right now.
My biggest concern is that daycare is closed today and DH is leaving as soon as I get off work to go 3 hours away for work and wont be back til after midnight.

Sorry don't have time to time did make me lol.
Ugh about your day, but glad you're off work soon. At least you're not feeling them right now. Hope H takes it easy on you this afternoon. I'm sure everything will be fine!!!

Can he wait an hour or so? You really need to try to lay down and get this figured out.

He has an appointment 3 hours away at 4pm and I wont get home til 12:30. Hopefully I'll be able to lay down while Henry naps.
ETA: They feel like really mild menstrual cramps. So they're a tiny bit painful, more than just a tightening, but definitely not severe.
Its frigid here too, but thankfully I think the snow is going to be south of me, which is kind of baffling. DS has been super clingy lately. No experience with night terrors but DD has been so much more clingy lately too. It's hard to get anything done at home because I can not put her down for more than a minute without her crying or clinging to my leg. She used to be content just sitting on the floor playing or "reading" her books for awhile but now she needs to be touching me or DH at most times. I'm sure it's just a phase but it's a little exhausting at times.

DH and I had a long talk yesterday about TTC #2. For the past few months, I have been really wanting to start trying but DH has been on the fence about having another child. Now it seems the tables have turned. He wants to start trying this summer but after dealing with a stomach virus week, I am really starting to rethink the idea of being pregnant again. The first 15 weeks were absolutely miserable for me, to the point that at times I wasn't even sure I wanted to continue with the pregnancy. Being nauseated and vomiting for 2 days reminded me of that misery and I'm not sure I can go through that again, especially now that I would have the additional challenge of dealing with a toddler as well. It really makes me sad that the stupid pregnancy sickness could hold me back from having another child but I'm terrified of going through it again.

This is us too. B is learning "up" and he was in the kitchen with me last night. he was super tired. But, he just was grabbing my leg and trying to climb up me. He was saying "up". So, every 5 seconds, I'm picking him up. I wanted to make sure he understands that the word "Up" will allow him to get picked up if possible. I want to encourage the communication...But, by golly, it is incredibly hard to try and cook while constantly picking up DS.

If LO doesn't get his nap on the way home from daycare he is a clingy mess while I'm trying to prepare dinner. Unfortunately, this happens much too often and I feel like my left arm is going to be disproportionately bulkier.

sleepymonkey, if only sitting or being held by DH would be sufficient. DS is all mommy, all the time. Unless either grandma is present. Then I'm chopped liver.

You can never be too excited about a free day to do whatever you want. Have fun today!!
My Monday spam is a MMBF. Fell on my ass on the ice this morning outside of day care as I was getting my 1 yo out of his car seat. Then both boys were attached more than usual to me trying to leave them at day care this morning. I have a bad neck already(car accident a couple years ago) so now that hurts, my head hurts & now my low back hurts. Cannot get to the Chiro til Wednesday. <wah wah wah>
