Who's still with us?
Anybody watch the off day video yesterday? I did not. Don't want to miss anything though! But not worried enough about it to actually watch apparently.
I love how short these workouts are. I can't say I'm exactly dripping with sweat at the end of them though. But I'm not a super sweaty person.
I think my inner thighs are going to be killing me after those lateral lunges. Holy smokes those were intense!

I skipped Saturday, so I'll be doing two today!
I also love how short they are but feel like I'm not being pushed as much as I can, especially on cardio days (I have no strength anymore). BUT, they're short enough that I feel like I feel motivated at the moment, so I'll keep it!

I did Day 3 last night. I found the strength day much easier than the cardio day. Maybe because I spend so much time hauling around a 20 pound weight. I hope to catch up with everyone else at some point but I am more likely to fall further behind.

I slacked on working out over the weekend, so I just finished day 4. While I'm disappointed I didn't take the opportunity to catch up over the weekend, I seriously think my muscles needed the two day break. I'm highly motivated to stick with it this time since I can get my workout in at work on lunch. It's hard to go back to my desk afterwards, but my mental state is so much better since I know I'm doing something to change my body.
Just finished day 8. I think the fact that they're short is the only thing that gets my ass off the couch some days. I can mentally psych myself up for 16-18 minutes , but not much more.

This. I was struggling to get motivated today, but then I saw today's was like 18 minutes (and that includes her sales pitch) -and got it done!

Day five complete. I used a link from Parenting to do one of her five minute ab workouts afterward. What a mistake. All of the moves were in plank position which was insanely difficult and painful after a strength workout that already tired out my arms. Thinking I may have to do the abs on cardio days instead.

Yay for the videos being back up this morning! I stalk the parenting BBM thread, and did 2.0 day 9 yesterday to make up for the lack of video, but I was glad to see it back to "normal" this morning. Downside of doing it "live" I suppose!
Lateral lunges were easier today I think - I'm feeling really good about the exercise I have going on and I think it's helping me push through the workouts.
Great job to all you ladies! I did a repeat of day 6 yesterday and then I did the day 9 and 10 that she uploaded today. I've also been doing workouts at the gym a few times a week. I'm feeling very good about doing the workouts everyday. With 5.0 I did not do them every day.

I think I got DH back on the working out bandwagon. His mom mentioned she bought a Total Gym last year and never even opened the box. He's been wanting one so he jumped at the opportunity to take it off her hands and set it up in our bedroom last night. I have to say, I seriously won't mind if he sticks with this and I get to watch him work out every night while I lay in bed. I totally objectified him and encouraged him to take his shirt off.

I'm all caught up (skipped day 9)! I didn't want to keep being a day behind because it would donweird things to my psyche, so I just skipped it. X thinks it's HILARIOUS to watch me stand on top of a chair😛

Soooo glad today was not a cardio day. I think I overdid it yesterday.
I have shin splints, and I'm not sure if it's because of this (I start my workout in slippers then move to bare feet when I'm warm enough - not great footwear), all the walking I did around campus in my not great for walking work shoes, or the run I did yesterday coupled with the fact my running shoes are getting old. I should buy new running shoes this weekend juat in case, right? Lol. Shin splints are my main indicator of needing new shoes, but I've been so busy I can't tell if that's it.

done this week. I kept being lazy and missing days, so two days this week I did double days. it tires me out but at least by the end I am super sweaty. I think i might do 2 back to back from now on, as one seems i just start getting into it when it finishes. i don't know. haha i say that now and I will try but i will be happy with just finishing one a day.
