Moving got rescheduled for Wednesday because the bank didn't get the appraisal in time. Our house is a wreck so I am ready to move now! The business is going great so far. Thanks for asking!

Hi! Ok, I'll come out of hiding I'll have to think of questions and who to ask, though b/c I haven't been around in a while.
I was a giant math nerd. I wanted to be an architect and even had my mom buy me architect software to design pretend buildings. Now I'm in advertising...go figure

calindi Thanks for the tag! Bocaburger is actually a nickname H gave me because he loves making up random nicknames. I actually don't really like Boca burgers, although I do eat a lot of veggie burgers because I only eat kosher meat and therefore eat vegetarian in restaurants. When I can get it kosher, I LOVE a good beef burger. I am obsessed with condiments and dips but I think ketchup is totally overrated (Sorry @ketchup) so I usually have the restaurant's special sauce, or if they don't have one, BBQ sauce + honey mustard. And pickles! And always French fries on the side because I loooove French fries.
It had never occurred to me to try ketchup on ice cream but my stomach is turned. Thanks for that. I don't intentionally put it on my eggs, but I feel it is a reasonable combo.

@likycakes78 Favorite place will always be the Met 😄 It's totally my happy place. Question back at you: do you miss living in the city or are you glad you made the move?
bostongirl617 I did straight up Ferber method for bedtime, and to decrease her night feeds, and it amazed me how well it worked. And how not-nearly-as-bad-as-I-thought.
@ketchup At the risk of having you hate me, I have a confession. I don't like ketchup unless I put black pepper in it. Plain ketchup is nasty.
Girl, I have way less important people to hate on than I do you. As long as you aren't following me around with your pepper shaker and ruining my perfectly seasoned ketchup with your madness, we are all good.
Me: 32, PCOS Him: 30, 4.5% morph, TTC: 10/11/12 After 5 failed Clomid cycles and 3 failed Femara cycles with HCG triggers, IVF #1 w/ICSI April 2015 resulted in a BFP! Our little Newt was born January 2016!
tikoberry99 Do you sing in the shower? What are your favorite songs?
lilyharper If you could travel back in time, where/when would you go?
disneykate How many times have you been to Disney World and what is your favorite ride?
I have been to Disney World 14 times. My favorite ride is Splash Mountain- I like all the cute scenes before the drop and singing Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah at the end. My close second favorite is Tower of Terror for the awesome theming and that whee feeling you get in your belly when you are falling in an elevator.
lindy04aggie If you could join any past or current music group which would you want to join?

We can totally be friends, Splash Mountain is my favorite too! And I love Tower of Terror. Also Space Mountain. And I like It's a Small World way more than I should lol.

I wish I went to more museums. Only went to the Met once long ago, but loved it. I really miss the city sometimes. I spent a lot of time in the LES listening to local bands, etc. The music scene there is so great. And I love that there is always something to do. Plus, not driving is awesome! And the food! So much great food! What I don't miss is the cost of living. It's nice to feel like we get more for our money over here in South Jersey. I also don't miss the "work hard, play hard" mentality. Maybe it wasn't NYC, though, maybe it was the field of advertising. But I hated that 6:30pm would roll around and no one was making any attempt to get up from their desks. LOL. I worked A LOT! I'd really like to visit more and definitely take Finn there often as he gets older.
I apologize if I'm not playing according to the rules of this thread.
nikiswimr, when I was in high school I really wanted to go to medical school and then become a cardiologist. I was not strong enough to stand up to all the negativity my family gave me and was terrified of the amount of debt I would have accumulated. I became an RN and then became a NP. I now work in a cardiac rehab center and will go back for my DSN next fall. I love my job and profession but sometimes regret I didn't become an MD.
Question to anyone who chooses to answer: Did anyone participate in any of the organized marches and rallies last Saturday.

Hey ladies! Sorry, I mostly lurk on here, so just seeing the tags. bluefairy5 - I have actually lived in SF twice. I came here for grad school in mid-2000s (because I needed a change and my school had one of the best programs for what I studied). Then moved BACK to Chicago for 5 years, then met DH and he lived in SF! So he is what brought me back out here. Oddly, we met through our families who have known each other forever. And we both lived here in mid-2000s, but paths never crossed (and family never connected us). Wasn't the right time then!
rainbowbridge14 - women's march was SO what I needed to feel connected and empowered. It sucked that ours was the LAST march in the whole world it seemed, and that it rained, but I'm so glad I went. I wish I had taken L in a way, but public transit was so super crowded and overwhelming. Probably would have been too much.
lilycakes78 - I had to think about this one! I think my first crush was Fred Savage from Wonder Years and no it wasn't reciprocated 😂
OMG! Girl, this is SO funny! He was mine too! When my girlfriends and I used to hang out we would fight over him. Or more specifically, who got to pretend he was their boyfriend. So, as soon as we saw each other we'd yell "I claim Fred Savage!" And after a while it turned into "I claim the REAL Fred Savage?" LOL! Why was he so cute back then???
jessimi06 Girl, I am scared of whales!! Not cool...I am sure there are other ways to explore the ocean than to be terrifyingly huge.
Grossest thing I ate...a bad/fishy raw oyster.
TJ, favorite kid cereal? westiemom, what other fun site(s) do you visit often, other than TCF? daydreamsam, favorite hangover food? Assuming you drink...right??

murrt, what's something you've always wanted to do, but been too scared? Think you'll ever do it?
Tell my old boss to go F himself. Does that count? or were you looking for a skydiving type of thing? Because in that case, cliff diving at Rick's in Jamiaca. I went twice and almost did it the second time, but then, I doubt they have very good emergency surgeons in Jamaica...so I chickened out. What's nuts is I actually jumped off a boat that brought us to the cliff and was the first one off...fearless. It was way more dangerous than the stupid jump. But the dive? Nope. Instead, I jumped off the smaller cliff to make myself feel better.
I will probably never do either of those things because the first would not be smart for my career. And as for the second, I'm more of a chicken with each year.
@dyork favorite dating story from your single days?

I had intended to (locally), but E was sick and pathetic and MH was on call, so my friends went without me and I watched CNN and the Pantsuit Nation. I'm so proud of those who did.
GL with your DSN! My mom tried several times to talk me out of medicine and into PA or NP school but it turns out I'm pretty stubborn. The debt is no joke, however.
lilycakes78 - LOL. I can't believe we had the same crush! Well, he was cute. Sadly, I was no Winnie Cooper. Majorly awkward pre-adolescent (and adolescent for that matter).
I sit with both of you. Team Fred Savage! And Add Joey McIntrye to my crush list too.
nikiswimr it is going really well. I am building really slowly so I'm only at a 6-mile long run so far. I'm trying to build up slow to avoid injury. I am really loving being able to get out for longer runs though and H has been really supportive about watching M so I can go run.
firstbbq tell me more about the women's March this weekend.
rainbowbridge14, You're such a badass. I ran 40 yards today and whined to my trainer the whole time. (Well, not the whole time. I spent a good portion of the time gasping for air... I have dreams of destroying the turf at the gym so we can't run...)
nikiswimr, That's my favorite story ever. What an amazing science lesson!!
I guess knowing I eventually have to do 26.2 then six feels small. I also run slow as fuck so that helps
shytimes give us examples of a time where you were actually shy.
k1111k have you finally unpacked all your boxes. I need tips for unpacking all the crap in our garage.
