Yesterday, the boys' teachers told me they were arguing over which of them had put a baby in their classmate's belly. They said it went down like this:
"I didn't put a baby in her tummy. You did."
"Not me. You put a baby in her tummy."
Today, one of them wasn't being kind to that same little girl. When the teacher reminded him to use kind words, he told her his socks were telling him to make bad choices.
They were sticking their tongues out at one another and threatening to "lick tongues." Yup, they were French kissing at Target.

I can already tell I'm gonna like this thread. LOL
I don't have much to add because my kid is 3 months old. But two things she does that I find hilarious.
1. She snorts. When she's mad or hungry her cries are punctuated with snorting which I find hilarious. I hope she keeps doing it for a long time. 2. She gives out loud sighs. Like, it's tough to be a baby sighs. I do this too so DH says it comes from me.
I had picked a scab on my neck so I put on a small skin colored bandaid. I didn't even think it was noticeable but R saw it and flipped out and tried to peel it off me by pinching me.
Me: "Ow that hurts Mommy! I have a bandaid and you don't get to pick it off." R: "NOOOO! Gone! Bye bye! No! Bye bye!"
I finally just pulled it off. Better to bleed on my shirt than death by a thousand toddler pinches.

Mine isn't talking yet but MH reads to him every night before bed while sitting in the rocking chair in his room. When they are done with the book MH hands it to C and he throws it onto the ground as hard as possible. It's hilarious and I have no clue why he even started doing it, but he does it every single time.
Me: 34 | DH: 33 Married: 2010 | TTC since Jan 2012 Met RE: March 2014 | Official DX: unexplained 04/2014-12/2014: 5 IUIs, all BFN IVF #1 March 2015 25R/20M/17F: Freeze-all, 12 frosties! FET #1 - May 2015: BFP! Beta #1 361, Beta #2 726 Baby boy, C, born 1/19/2016
CL isn't saying much yet, except "uh-oh". She's all of a sudden very good with "uh-oh".
But, she has this little red ride-on scooter toy that has a smiley face in the front of it, and she attacked it the other day. She was frustrated over something, and she put her hands on the handlebars of the scooter, leaned down so she was face to face with the happy little smiley face, and said "raawwrr", really loud. DH and I were both stunned...no idea where she picked up the idea to roar at her toys. Whatever the issue was, she was completely over it a minute later.
DH and I are both 38 TTC since Feb 2013 Diagnoses: PCOS ("lean"/non-IR), borderline hypothyroid, hyperprolactinoma 6 TI/IUI cycles in 2014 (2 Clomid, 4 Femara) - 1 cancelled, 5 BFN IVF #1: March 2015 - 22R/12F. 7 frosties FET #1: May 2015
We also don't have a ton of words yet, but the other day E was staring down the dog, hitting him on the side of his face and repeatedly yelling "dog" at him. Luckily he's a super chill golden retriever. She's actually more consistent with "dog" than "mama."
She also started calling BF "num num," I have no idea where she got that because I've never called it something similar, but when she wants milk she now yells "num num" progressively more loudly and then tries to pull down my shirt (you know just to make sure EVERYONE gets what she wants).
Ro has been starting to mimick new words lately. The other day I was giving her a bath, letting her play in the water and she kept going for the drain stopper. I told her "no no" every time and she seemed to understand (it was the first time I've really said it to her, but she hears us tell the dogs no a lot) because she would stop until she thought I wasn't looking then go for it again. One time she did it and I said "no no" and she immediately repeated it back to me out of nowhere.
Me: 32, PCOS Him: 30, 4.5% morph, TTC: 10/11/12 After 5 failed Clomid cycles and 3 failed Femara cycles with HCG triggers, IVF #1 w/ICSI April 2015 resulted in a BFP! Our little Newt was born January 2016!
DS1 had a cup with his name on it from Sesame Place. We got DS2 one last summer. DS1 always wanted to use it since it was the new cup even though we told him it was his brothers. He read the letters the other day and said it was his brothers and asked DH why he gave it to him. DH told him why - that he insisted it was his. He said well, now that I know it's not mine why did you give it to me??

J wanted to wear a sundress the other day. DH told her no because it was too cold. She stomped up the stairs saying "you're ruining my life daddy". I am glad she walked away so she couldn't see us laughing. Later she told us she was upset because she was getting married to a boy at school and had to wear a dress for it. She's 4.

I always love these threads!
I was talking to my mom in the car about how I was still having some bleeding after my hysterectomy. I had no idea ds1 was even listening in the back....
Me: "I don't have a uterus or cervix. I have no idea where the blood is even coming from."
DS1: "a hole, mommy. It's coming from a hole!" 😳

That's adorable. DS1 has a little girlfriend at school. He calls her "my emma" when he talks about her, and they hold hands walking in to school every day.

We've been practicing counting, but she's stuck on two. It usually goes like this....
Me (while counting w/ my hand): "One, Two, Three..." C: "NO! Two!" Me: "After Two, Three" C: "No, Two" - grabs a foam 'V' and hands it to me - "Two"
We usually count while she's taking a bath and I have a pile of foam numbers and letter I use to show her. But apparently I count so often with my hand that she thinks 2 is a V.
Real time comment here: we are eating supper and s1 is looking at his space placemat and asking me to name the planets as I point to them. We get to Uranus. He says "I don't believe in uranus. Also, it is important that you NEVER get hit by a meteorite"
In the bath, I started putting the wet washcloth on WF's back and telling her it's her superhero cape. She shrugs it off, then makes me put it back on, repeat. After a few weeks of this, she's started sticking her arms out to the side as if she's flying while wearing her cape. I have less than no idea where she learned this.

I was hanging a poster that fell in my classroom today while my kids were getting started at centers with their partners.
Kindergartener #1: **whispers** She can't reach that high. Kindergartener #2: **whispers** Oh my gosh, she's gonna stand on the chair. Kindergartener #1: But... but that's against the rules. Kindergartener #2: Well how else is she gonna do it? Kindergartener #1: She's on the chair! She's standing on the chair! Kindergartener #2: **covers eyes** I can't watch. One wrong move and she's gonna fall. Kindergartener #1: What do we do if she falls? Kindergartener #2: **uncovers eyes and shrugs** Go get the principal?
