Hey ladies,
I'm 23+5 so very nearly at 24 weeks (v-day). We saw the MFM yesterday and my cervix and the boys all still look great. He said after 24 weeks our next big landmark/goal is 28 weeks since risks go way down after that point. We went on a private NICU tour today and met the staff. It surprised me how much it hit me being in there. I do feel better knowing at least some of the basics of the NICU and what the basic procedures are.
QOTW: I actually just asked this on POM. My DD is going to be super young when these guys are born. I really don't think she will "get it" if her brothers "give her a gift". But, we may just do a little something anyway. I'm leaning toward a book talking about being a big sister.

I'm 23 weeks 4ndays today. In Wednesday I had my OB appointment and it was crazy to me that we are already talking about completing my glucose and antibody tests for my Rohgam shot that I will get at my next visit. The time is going by so quickly. Overall I feel great. I was a little caught off guard this morning when I went light headed and the room started to spin while getting one of the boys ready. It could be many things from my hot shower, to blood pressure, to low blood sugar since I hadn't eaten yet. If it happens again I plan to call my OB.
QOTW We plan to do a gift from the boys to their sister and a gift from their sister to them.
pinkmickey24 , oh boy, thats scary! I hope you don't have another spell like that.
fightersince83 , thats nice you got to privately tour the NICU. Is the hospital pretty close to home? Glad you and the boys are still looking great!
I'm 9wks1dy and dealing with major food aversion and nausea. I struggle to find things that I want to eat and preparing food is making me queasy. Hoping it passes soon! I vomited last week a couple times but haven't again, which is good. Also feel like my energy got zapped the last couple of days. Ah well, par for the course!
QOTW: I think we will get DS a little something, but I don't know what yet. As Fighter said, he will be young so don't know if he will understand the concept but it will still be special for him.
