I realize I am ahead of you all and it is not Saturday yet for all of you - oh tho I guess technically the weekend starts after work on Fridays?? - but anyhoooo. Let's do some randoms!
I am up at stupid o'clock on my free Saturday morning as my crazy pregnant body doesn't get the concept of "sleeping in" and woke me up for breakfast at 6. It uses to be the cats who did this but I guess I don't need them to spoil my sleeping in no more. Natures way to prepare me for what is to come??
Also, who of you have watched the recent BBC Sherlock episodes? just curious
Ugh what the heck. Just gotten back in bed for some more snooze when I realize they are driving piles in to the ground at the construction area at the end of our street. It is friggin Saturday 7am y'all!!! Boom boom boom boom doesn't make for peaceful sleeping in 😣
muscari, sleeping in is just not happening. I get up early normally but my big dog decided 5:30 was the time he needed out this morning. He announced by sitting at the foot of the bed and panting loudly.
Oh well, this gives me time to get a second breakfast in before we go to the big flea market at the fairgrounds today.

Ahh yes one of our cats has his ways of declaring it's time for breakfast as well regardless of whether I'm still asleep or not ;-) He'll climb on the bed and install himself right next to my hear purring loudly (sometimes trying to get my attention by putting his paw on my face even) and if I don't respond he'll climb up on my nightstand and starts pushing my books off
Second breakfast sounds great I may have had breakfast at 6 ánd at 11 as well.. and am about to make lunch.. hah. Enjoy your day at the flea market - sounds like fun! Are you just going to browse around or do you think you'll end up buying something as well?

Second breakfast has become a real thing for me. My calorie intake is insane right now! I try to start with a good, hearty oatmeal with some nuts and fruit and then a couple hours later I have a more protein based "snack".
We are officially looking for bar stools but I have a feeling it will be a whole bunch of browsing.
Good morning (or afternoon for muscari 😊)! I've been laying in bed awake for the last hour feeling like crap. I have some sort of cold/sinus thing going on. Of course H and DS are still sleeping 😒
Last night was the first night all week where my pregnancy insomnia didn't kick in. I'm up making french toast and coffee. DS has soccer in the morning and in the afternoon we're meeting with some of DH's family for bowling and dinner. Should be a busy but fun day!

Pregnancy insomnia is the worst. I've had some sort of sinus crap since I was sick a few weeks ago, and every morning at about 1:00 AM my nose decides it's going to whistle and wake me up...and keep me up. I have to get up and blow my nose, then of course I have to pee. It takes me about 2 hours to fall back asleep. Thankfully H let me sleep in, but I couldn't go back to sleep. Oh well, it was a nice gesture. I guess I'll give him some tonight as a thank you.
I wouldn't say it's insomnia, but i've definitely had trouble sleeping lately. Part of it is because i'm sick but I know part of it is pregnancy related. I busted out my snoogle the other day hoping it would help but no such luck. I can only seem to sleep in 2 hour stretches 😣
I second the pregnancy insomnia being the worst. I usually have it but 1) I've been really sick and 2) I've been in trial most of the month- so I'm beyond exhausted. I usually take melatonin or Tylenol PM to help sleep, but I haven't had that issue for a couple weeks. In my prior 2 pregnancies, it was really bad at the end. I can only imagine the horror with 1) summertime and 2) a twin belly.
I'm meeting up with my friends sister who has twins. I'm going to get the nitty gritty details on all things twins.

Pregnancy insomnia is kicking my butt. Also I am loving this fluctuation of constipation and then sudden onset diarrhea. I had to pull out our camping toilet since our 1 toilet was taken a d I couldn't hold it. Life is great!
Yeah the unisom seems to be helping with sleep but unsure if it's doing shit for the nausea.
What's everyone's go to for maternity work pants? I didn't buy much last time since I had my SIL's stuff but I'm starting this pregnancy 10lbs heavier so they likely won't fit :sobs:
I had the worst migraine all day Thursday. I went to work Friday, even though my head still hurt and I didn't have my peripheral vision back. I went to bed last night at 7pm when my kid went to bed. Woke up at 4am starving and made an omelet. Then I woke up at 7am and ate an English muffin with peanut butter. Then went to bed at 8am to wake up and make pancakes at 10am. I'm still fighting off a headache. And, H is pretty much over it. Tylenol does nothing to relieve any pain.

Last time I had a few pairs from Old Navy that were decent. Most of my stuff from last time doesn't fit this time though. I bought a pair from Kohl's line (I can't think of the name right now) and they're super comfortable.

After not having been able to eat well due to severe nausea, dry heaving and puking, once the nausea was (mostly) under control with some meds I feel like my calorie intake has been insane the first week! I have since toned it down some but I definitely need to eat something in between bf and lunch and lunch and dinner, before bed and sometimes I even wake up halfway the night with a sore stomach and feeling really hungry like I need to eat something. It's crazy!
jessa1228, sorry to hear you're feeling rough - hope you perk up soon! Also, donuts, mmmmm! And, what is a snoogle??
@xamountofwords, my body wants me to sleep 12+ hours as well but during the week that's just simply not possible.. I had an awesome 2h nap this afternoon Your pregnancy narcolepsy made me giggle -- that's been me several times at work lately I started taking 20-30min naps at lunchtime to make it a smidge easier to get through the afternoons..
wanderingstar, I too have to get up like twice a night at least to go pee and then have trouble getting back asleep often. I hate waking up 1-2 hours before the alarm goes off and not being able to actually get some proper sleep in between I hope your little sleep in today helped feel a little better.
nutmeg8484, the med I'm on for the nausea also lists fatigue as a side effect but I'm not sure whether it's made me more tired yes/no.. I've had 0 energy since like week 5 :(The first weeks I slept like a rock, loved it - but the past weeks, not so much..
elliecat17, I had/have the same!! I hate the going back'n'forth between constipation and having to make a run..
jt2378, I'm having trouble finding maternity pants I like as well.. I found one pair that I love and is soooo comfi, am hoping that come spring this brand will bring out this model in some more colors (all they had now was a dark grey). Brand is New Look but no clue whether tis a EU brand or available WW.
bsouls, migraines like that are the worst - feel better soon!

Has anyone found a really good bra? I have always struggled to find comfortable bras, it comes with being too top heavy, but this is getting beyond crazy!
I had to do an early glucose test on Friday morning (bc I had GD first pregnancy) and have had a migraine ever since. Super frustrating that I can't take anything that would work to get rid of it. And now I'm worried this means I failed the test.

the Gap has awsome work pants. Old navy is sold out of every size online half the time. I love my pants from the Gap
