I was standing at the island in the kitchen getting breakfast ready this morning and DS ran in randomly from playing in the living room and started screaming and pushing at me because he didn't like where I was standing. When I asked him to please stop pushing and that I couldn't move because I was cooking he threw himself down and had a tantrum. Toddlers are weirdos.
DS asked for berries so I went to get them out of the fridge. He freaked out. I got them ready anyways and gave them to him. He was mad so he threw them in the floor where the dog attempted to eat them. Cue the second tantrum because the dog was eating his berries. We had to start all over.
On a similar note I'm taking a grad class right now that deals with brain development. The class is geared more towards adolescents, but it talks about toddlers and all of the brain connections that are forming. It's really interesting, and makes all these crazy tantrums make a little more sense.
That would definitely cue a momma meltdown from me littleheaven ! I hope things get better for you soon!
thanks....dh is venturing into the crawl space right now...hopefully he can do something down there...we currently have the space heater blowing on the pipes under the sink....currently as in....for the last 2 or so hours

Toddler meltdown today because of Thomas trains. He brought trains upstairs last night and forgot to bring them down with him when we went downstairs this morning. He wanted to go back up and get them but I ran up alone and got them. I then proceeded to put the trains on his train table, but apparently not how HE wanted and he threw a fit. So glad I hiked my big, pregnant butt all the way up the stairs to get his trains this morning.

Everything out of DD's mouth this morning was "I can't" or "watch Fia"! And then she threw about 1,000 fits about sitting on the potty, about getting dressed, going to the store. Gahh, it was a rough morning.
And then we had to venture out in the freezing cold and snow to pick up some food for my husband at work. And then she threw a fit because he wasn't at his station, he was at another station training (I did feel bad about this one, girl just missed her daddy).
I'm reallllly hoping my class gets cancelled tonight because I really don't want to have to travel in the snow and cold tonight. I'm so over winter!

I'm having a meltdown having to rearrange the frickin furntiture in R's room soon to be shared with A. There just isn't enough room and i didn't get done in time for nap time so r was just standing at the gate blocking her from the chaos while dh helped me move stuff because she couldn't get in cue meltdown.
She was so excited to go to Nanna and Pappy's today, but threw a fit because she didn't want to get in the car. Lol. Logic is not strong with the small ones.

Lots of meltdowns during dinner tonight because she didn't want to eat. Then a major meltdown at bedtime because she wanted to get into her crib immediately, and didn't want to change or brush her teeth first. Last night she had a fever of 100 deg, but it was gone in the morning and hasn't come back so I have no idea what that was about, but I'm assuming something is making her not feel well. I would have thought teething but we're well past that so I'm stumped.
