My kid is sick. She's been congested for a week and then started with weepy eyes on Thursday. Daycare was okay with it Friday but made me take her to the doctor on Monday. Doctor said it's due to the cold (not bacteria) and if the cold is okay at daycare, so are the eyes.
I started with cold symptoms on Sunday and have gone down hill. Guess who woke up with weepy eyes today...? Waaah.

hannahbear- maybe TMI but there was like no prominent ring where the head is. It just didn't look right. There was like a fold over it and you couldn't really push it back. The skin underneath attached in a few places. The steroid cream helped but didn't break the bridges. Kind of like a mushroom but the stem goes up the sides too at some parts? Lol.
Here I drew a picture hahahaha. Where the arrows are, they had to cut those "bridges". They suggested doing it asap because as he gets older and things ummm stretch, it could be really painful. Also stuff could get under them (fuzz and whatnot) and cause infections.
It's after 7 am and my child is still asleep in her bed. It's a miracle. She turned onto her stomach after I fed her at 3 am and has been asleep since which is completely unheard of for her. Crossing my fingers this good sleep continues and it's not just because she's tired from shots yesterday.
B was a nightmare this morning and I may lose my shit on DH today.
I keep telling him that my supply is dropping because of stress and me being away from the baby those few days so it's important that I feed him. Every time I turn around DH is making him a bottle. Fine, that's cool but now I have to go pump. But every time I go to pump, something else comes up. Like I've gotta take B to school because he's holding the napping baby, or the exterminator is here. Or I've gotta make SD a sandwich because she's sick and hungry. Or he's bitching about how we need to clean up.
So yeah, the exterminator is here now and I'm like oh well- he's gotta wait. But now I'm so stressed that I'm getting nothing.

Ds2 woke up this morning with a poo blowout. Third time ever, happy valentine's day to me!
Ds2 was so grumpy over the weekend from his 6m shots on Friday. Luckily he is much better now. He is normally the happiest, most chill baby ever so it was rough seeing him so down!

WWYD?
E took a nice 2 hour nap this am. He's on his second nap, going on for two hours again. It's 4:30pm. Should I wake him? Will long naps screw with nighttime sleep?

I never found long naps at this age impacted sleep negatively. Even DD who's 2 if she naps late it only pushes bedtime back slightly (less than 15 minutes). So let him sleep is my vote.

joy that sucks! I hope it doesn't stick around long!
What I wouldn't give for a nap that doesn't involve screaming for what ends up being longer than he naps. DS will scream (not cry) before every nap for 30-40 min, then sleeps for 20-30 min. I've gone by his sleep cues, wake times, rocking, the swing, the couch, my arms, motrin, tylenol, etc. This is just how it's going to be I see. It was nice having a chance to eat, pump, and clean the house while it lasted. I'm over teething these last 4 weeks, and this is his first tooth. I can finally see it poking through.
