I like some Carters but the pants do not fit my long skinny kid. If i buy for length then the waist is too big and half their pants don't have real drew strings.

So does my chunker. I try to stay away from button up pants. We have some hand me downs and he usually grows out of them quick or complains they are too tight. #toddlerbeerbelly
When I do buy DS clothes, I tend to go to ON because I fell like their stuff runs bigger and they have good sales. I have a lot of Jumping Bean hand me downs and they fit really well and don't have weird designs or sayings.
I've gotten dd a couple of really cute things from cp, but not in a while. I do like their fleece jackets.
Speaking of differences between dressing boys and girls, I saw a blog post a while ago about how toddler underwear bs, and it's so true. The boy underwear is thick and generously cut, and the girls' is thin and lacey and sometimes bikini or high cut. Why???
Old Navy makes really cute girls panties with thick bands of cotton on leg holes and top.

My usual go to is Old Navy on sale.
Nothing helps me on this situation. It sucks
i don't know what delivery or how prices translate but this is my favourite shop for long and skinny pants
I actually do not mind kids in bikinis. I would rather a two piece from diaper change or potty break.
I would never buy a weird style though like the same as my string bikinis, but I have only ever seen similar to tank top styles even without being a tankini.
I use sunscreen and do have a rash guard style for if we are at a beach the entire day, but backyard or pool for a bit then either bathing suit is fine by me.
my problem is that the elastic waist is still too big and his pants fall down
For us, the problem is that most elastic waist pants have decorative, but nonfunctional drawstrings. They need to make pants with functional drawstrings. I'm starting to buy 3T pants because his 2T are too short and even with his belly, the waists are usually too big.

yes! This is my main issue with carters sweat pants, the decorative draw string.
I loved carters when she was small but now I am having a hard time with size and finding cute things with them. Same about Gymboree! Just found the best Dino shirt for spring / summer for $7 there! I do love me some Cat and Jack from target though!
I'm having this problem with Jumping Beans. Their 3T jeans fit her great, but shirts she needs a 4T or 5T especially in long sleeves. ON 3T are too big in the waist, but are kind of short on her. I love Carters too. And we just got a store 5 minutes from me. I have to make myself stay out of there.
Truth. Lol. Really though, Gymboree 4 lyfe because my mom loves to buy the girls stuff from there. Both kids have wardrobes of like 40-50% Gymboree, and I've only purchased a couple of the pieces.

I don't like her. I didn't like Destiny's Child, don't like her solo stuff, I just don't get the hype. I don't think she's anymore talented than any number of others out there.
