Great idea!! 1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony and reception. Outside in a garden and then inside a ballroom
2. What kind of dress did you wear? A blush pink mermaid gown. It was amazing. I love my dress. Totally rocked the pink!
3. Flowers? Simple flowers. With a pink dress I went with a mixed white bouquet.
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Went to get hair done with all my bridesmaids, had coffee and lunch, and then went to the venue to drink champagne and put our makeup on!
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) Edwin McCain "Could Not Ask for More"

1. We had an indoor ceremony and reception in a beautiful older house that is used for weddings.
2. I wore an ivory strapless sweetheart. I like my dress, but wish I would've gotten a different style.
3. Calallies in deep purple.
4. My bridesmaids and I had our hair/makeup done in my hotel room, and headed to the venue after to change. They had the cutest bridal room, and we drank champagne.
5. Can't take my eyes off of you, Frankie Vallie
PDQ Fun fact, we were supposed to get married in MHs hometown, but it was hit with a crazy 100 year flood the weekend before. Total devastation, and the national guard wouldn't let people in without local IDs. I thought *maybe* we could make it work, but my venue was hit by a mudslide 4 days before the wedding. We had 3 days to come up with a new venue, caterer, H&M, florist, ect. It was crazy but we pulled it off and it was amazing.

1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony & Reception. Ceremony was outdoors overseeing the bay, reception was in a restaurant that was closed to the public while our reception was happening.
2. What kind of dress did you wear? Strapless A - Line. It wasn't my favorite but my mom was buying and it was her favorite. I made some alterations and rocked it.
3. Flowers? Callalilies, orchids, hydrangeas in purples, whites, and greens.
4. What did you do the day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? We had an 11AM ceremony, so it was basically getting ready, heading to the venue, drinking mimosas to settle my jitters, then getting married.
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer). I honestly don't remember. We had a non - traditional wedding and walked into a song we had selected, but didn't really dance.
Ceremony and reception, I loved my dress, I had it custom made (simple, full skirt, sweetheart neckline, with (fake) pearl accents - cost waaay less than most of the dresses we looked at). We did our photos before the ceremony so it was getting ready and then photos.
1. We had the ceremony in a church. It was the oldest in our county, so pretty! Reception at a ballroom at a hotel. 2. It was off white, A line, strapless sweetheart neck. It was simple and perfect with a belt I bought from Etsy. 3. My flowers were dark pink, light pink, orange roses with stargazer lilies (my favorite) I had an old co-worker who loved doing flowers as a hobby. Her BIL owned a greenhouse, so she paid cost for the flowers and charged minimal. It was amazing to get all we did for the price we paid. I love flowers, but dislike how expensive they are! 4. I went to the salon to get my hair and make up done with my bridesmaids. We ended up having extra time, so we stopped for lunch, but I was too nervous to eat 😩 5. Our song was You and Me by Dave Matthews Band.
2. What kind of dress did you wear? I just spiraled looking through my wedding pictures on FB... fitted on top with a dropped waist and full skirt. The skirt had spirals that looked like big flowers.
3. Flowers? I made button bouquets for my and my girls. My mom grew a butt ton of marigolds that we used on the tables.
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Ran around like a crazy person, got my hair done... took some pictures.
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) DH wanted a song that would stick around through the ages so we did our first dance to "at last". I snuck my pick in though and walked down the aisle to I won't give up by Jason Mraz.
1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony & Reception
2. What kind of dress did you wear? Strapless ivory with beaded waist embellishment and a full skirt
3. Flowers? Pink & Ivory English Roses
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Hair, make-up and lunch with all my bridesmaids and maybe a couple shots of fireball.
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) Christina Perri - A Thousand Years...which is pretty much how long H and I were together before getting married. (1000 years = 17 years LOL)
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Got ready with my bridesmaids and photos beforehand.
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts
I stole this from another board. Seems like a good GTKY.
1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony & reception. We had it in the yard at my parents house...they live in a 210 year old log house on 28 acres. It's been in our family the whole time, so it was really special
2. What kind of dress did you wear? Ivory. It was a corset top with lots of gorgeous bedding. The bottom was taffeta and fluffy with pickups. I loved my dress.
3. Flowers? Sunflowers and delphinium
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Woke up, got Panera, went to my parents and got my hair and makeup done, helped get the tables set up, got dressed and did pictures!
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) we danced to the Norah Jones version of Love Me Tender. We walked back down the aisle together to Here in Your Arms by HelloGoodbye which had been one of our songs when we started dating.
1. It was at a ski lodge on a lake in the summer. Our ceremony was on the grass in front of the lake and the reception was in the ski lodge .
2. Beaded corseted top and a giant ball gown bottom with tons of rosettes and fly aways and stuff. I loved it.
3. Flowers were peonies and garden roses with dusty miller and Queen Anne's lace. Very Pinteresty.
4. We spent the night before at the lodge we each had a condo for our the bridal party. My hair dresser came to us and I did the make up.
5. Our walk down the aisle was Story book love (them from the princess bride) but an instrumental version played on violin. Our first dance was Song Bird as performed by Eva Cassidy.

2. What kind of dress did you wear? Spaghetti strap a line, lace and beading all over, ivory colored
3. Flowers? White bouquets my mom put together cause she's amazing
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Got my hair did, went to the church and all of us girls got ready together
5. What was "your song?" (I phrased that so that even if you didn't have a reception, you probably still have an answer) didn't have one. Our church is pretty old school and dancing is a no for receptions there. Just cake and punch and hugging like 300 people! FYI, never hug that many people on your wedding day. We both got the worlds worst flu that week and totally ruined our honeymoon.
1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony at the church my grandparents started that we still attend today, reception was at a country club. We had a clambake dinner.
2. What kind of dress did you wear? An Aline offwhite dress with flower applique on the bodice. It was purchased 6 days before the wedding because the dress I had purchased months before was destroyed beyond repair while being tailored. I liked the second dress better and it fit right off the rack
3. Flowers? Sunflowers for the girls. Mums and baby's breath for the guys.
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Picked up the flowers, grabbed starbucks, got my hair and makeup done then went to our new house to take pictures/get dressed. I totally forgot to eat so my sister ran up to the winking lizard to get us all salads. The day of was so chaotic.
5. What was "your song?" We danced to You and Me by DMB, but our entrance song was Always by Blink 182 so we think of that as a special song too.
3. Flowers? White roses and green hydrangeas and some other stuff
4. What did you do that day of the wedding before the ceremony took place? Got ready with the bridesmaids, took a limo to the winery, took pictures with the bridesmaids, drank a few bottles of champagne.
5. What was "your song?" Bright Eyes- This is the first day of my life
1. Ceremony & reception, or elopement? Ceremony and reception at the same place. Both indoor since it was April in NE. We got to do some pictures outside though.

Ok I'm finally back to post a few pictures. My shoes, because I love them, and they were my "something blue." And my pink dress! Sorry if the pictures are huge...
