How much do your LO's sleep? Lately it seems that DD is constantly tired. She can't be away for more than 2 1/2 hours without yawning and rubbing her eyes. Im wondering if this is just a sleepy growth spurt. I feel like She sleeps as much as she did when she was a newborn all of a sudden.

We are on a 2-3-4 scheduled the pediatrician recommended. she goes down for a nap two hours after she gets up. Then she goes down for a nap three hours after that and then four hours after that. Sometimes she takes another cat nap if she slept for less then 30 mins during one of her naps. I use the boob to get her to sleep. If I didn't I don't think she would ever nap. She is like the freakin energizer bunny sorry I know I am of no help haha

@zerozeroone basically the same thing over here. DD typically needs a nap after being awake for 1.5-2hrs. She'll sleep for about the same amount of time and through the night. Typically 13-15hrs a day I'd say.
I wish DS napped that much. He naps twice during the day. He wakes up around 730. Naps around 1030-11 or 11:30 then again maybe around 2 for 30 min if we are lucky. Then bed at 8ish.
Not enough. DS does not like to nap at all. If I bring him in bed with me I can get a 2-3 hour morning nap around 9:30. If I put him in his crib he will only sleep for about 30 mins. Usually only one short nap in the afternoon. Bed at 8:30, and still up multiple times a night with usually one middle of the night feed. He's grumpy if he's awake for 2-3 hours without a nap though. I'm always tired.
He will only take 2 naps/day usually. Which means if he wakes at 5:30, he's ready for a nap by 7-7:30 and then again around noon or so. I usually try to get him in for at least one more cat nap on days like that so he can go to bed at normal time, but he doesn't always sleep and then wants to go to bed at like 5-5:30.
On a good day, he wakes around 6:30-7, naps around 9 and then again around 2 and then goes to be around 6-6:30. Still wakes 1-2x at night.
His morning naps get thrown off on days we have to drop off and pick-up DS1 from preschool.

DD gets sleepy after 2 hours. I push her to 2.5 before her second and third naps. Our bedtime sweet spot seems to be 7:45. Since we are sleep training right now, I don't want to comment on lengths because I'm sure they will change.
I will say that we got room darkening shades for her room and now her naps have gone from a half hour to two hours. I feel like I have a life again!

Thanks ladies! I'm glad it's not just my LO. She sleeps about 12-13 hours at night (will wake up 2-3 times to eat) and then seems to nap about 2-4 hours more during the day depending on what she has going on. Usually two naps. It just seems like so much more sleep than she used to be getting, but I guess she needs it!

Typically, she sleeps about 11 hours at night (with 1-2 feedings). She still does best when she naps 3x a day (roughly at 8:30ish, noonish, and 4:00ish). On days she only naps twice, it's a struggle to make it till bedtime (7:30). Most of her naps are only 30-45 minutes long but that's nothing new - she's napped the same length of time since she was a newborn.
LO usually sleeps 7:00 pm - 6:30 am. He's adjusting to sleeping in his own room so that's all rough right now. I think he's doing better with it than I am! On the weekends, he takes 2-3 naps per day...usually one in the morning for 1-2 hours, another early afternoon for around an hour (sometimes more) and then a short nap late afternoon. At DC it's a whole other world...I don't think he can settle down well for a nap there so some days he only gets 1 good nap, or 2 naps that are like a half hour each. Definitely not enough, because those nights he crashes as soon as we get home!
June sleeps from about 9 pm to 8 am (usually with one wake), and then naps from 10-11 or 12 and 3 or 4 to 5ish. (Obviously sleep is a strict science in this house. NOT.)
A is going through a nap fighting stage so our schedule is out the window. She usually does one long nap 2+ hours and 2 45 minute naps... on her best day.

Naps are not our strong suit. Normally DD only takes 2 naps, and they are rarely longer than 1 hr a piece. Bed at 6:45, up between 6:30 and 7. Nap between 9 and 10. Nap again around 2 or 3. She's very inconsistent. At night she usually sleeps until 3 or 4 then eats, 5:30 or 6 eats again.
Spencer has a nap every few hours throughout the day. Sometimes they are 30 minutes, other times 2 hours. He's in bed between 8-9pm and sleeps through until about 7-8am
This of you whose little ones sleep through the night- were they always good sleepers or did you do something to help facilitate this?
We definitely did sleep training. It didn't "just happen" in our house. It's still a work in progress, as she does still wake up some nights (last night she was up at 1, I think because of constipation), but I'm a big fan of consistency and schedules in general, so it works for us.

LO goes to sleep at 7:30 wakes up between 4-5am to eat and then is up for the day between 7:30-8:30. Naps: 9:30-10, 12-12:45, and sometimes if I'm lucky 3-3:45.
Those of you whose little ones sleep through the night- were they always good sleepers or did you do something to help facilitate this?
Mostly a good sleeper. Around 4m she started waking up every 3 hours to eat around 6m we sleep trained away the MOTN feedings and now she wakes between 4:30 and 5:30 to eat and then up between 7 and 8 for the day. With that said we'll have a random 2am wake every now and then. I'm pretty sure we're getting top teeth.
My LO sleeps about 13-14 hours a day. 7pm to 5:15am a 30 minute morning nap on the way to work 2 or 3 30 minute naps at school (she prefers to cat nap) an hour nap in the car on the way home from work
On the weekends she will usually take longer naps during the day since she doesn't get those car ride naps and I don't make her get up at 5:15. She will normally get up around 6:30/7am
She has been sleeping through the night since 3 months, and she did it on her own. I just followed her lead. I guess she wasn't hungry at night anymore. She must love sleep. Doesn't fuss when you put her down. Occasionally I will hear some crying/whining in the middle of the night, but she usually just goes right back to sleep. I used to wait about 5-10 minutes to see if she was seriously up, or just dreaming/shifting in her sleep. But she doesn't use a pacifier - she uses her fingers so if she wakes up, she can just pop those in and go back to sleep. I'm sure that has helped. Good luck to anyone trying sleep training.
Wakes up between 5:30-6 (maybe 5 on a bad day) Naps around 9 for 1.5-3 hours typically naps between 1:30-3:30 (length depending on how long her morning nap was) and MAYBE a 20-40 minute cat nap in the afternoon on a walk (4:30-5) Bedtime is 7, but we typically start feeding for bed around 6:15-6:20
Total: ~10 hours night time sleep + ~3 hours daytime sleep
ETA: She's been STTN since 8 weeks, she just did it, I wish we had trained her, because sometimes she doesn't like to nap at home now, and we have no skills to deal with it! Also, she all of the sudden over the weekend started napping again at home, and in the car, and everywhere we went (almost). I'm not sure if she's tired from being sick, or if it's just a phase!
Those of you whose little ones sleep through the night- were they always good sleepers or did you do something to help facilitate this?
DD STTN from birth to Thanksgiving day (so almost 5 months) every night without fail. No joke. Since that (fateful) day it's been a shitshow. I'd LOVE to get those days back!
