Good morning! Mil is picking up H in a little bit to take her to the library for some activity. I have to work this afternoon so I'm planning to just hang out until I have to leave.

It's awesome that H gets those special "outings" with your MIL so often!
We have swimming this morning. I should go get dressed for it. We're supposed to hang out with some new parent-friends we met last month, but the mama's aunt just passed away so I think they might reschedule. Other than that, not much going on this weekend!
I found an Old Navy gift card in one of X's books (probably from the shower that got stuffed away) so I feel like I need to spend that right meow.
Today is DS's party! I still don't have a voice. So this should be interesting. My throat isn't even sore. I just have a slightly runny nose and no voice.
So we started doing just a couple ounces of whole milk a day this past week. He has seemed fine for the most part. A couple wake ups here and there, and lots of burping, but otherwise normal. The last couple days his poop has seemed harder, and this morning he gave one giant hard turd that seemed rather painful to get out. I know milk can cause constipation, so I'm assuming this is okay and we just need to up his water and fiber intake? Last night he was up multiple times and rather unpleasant, and I don't know if it was tummy upset or just the teething (he's been super drooly and I can see and feel tooth outlines under the gums). I guess I just don't know how to figure out if the milk is causing a problem or not. I had wanted to try a little milk before his one year so I'd be able to tell the pedi if we had a problem or not. He does fine with milk in foods, yogurt, cheese, and his milk-based formula. I think maybe I'm just looking too hard for a problem. Aka, I'm being a ftm. Lol.
tkford216 I'm guessing his sleeping problems are a combo of teething and the milk. I'd up his fiber or give him "p" foods to see if that helps with the poop problem.

We did a home depot kids workshop this morning, then swim class. DS threw up in the pool after swallowing too much water. I just have to hope they don't ding us with the $200 fine they purport to charge for BMs/vomit in the pool. O.o

Is that a typical policy?
What?! That's crazy. I don't recall signing anything about that for X's class (though I admit to not reading things carefully). BM's I can *almost* understand a little more because you can take more measures to prevent that, but vomit?? I hope they don't.

Scrolling facebook. See a Gap ad with a cute dress. Click dress. Kind of short, but still cute! I love eyelets! $34.95? I can swing that. Look at sizes.
...3 mos, 6 mos, 9 mos...
I just tried to buy a baby dress. For myself. Whoops.

Haha love it! I love eyelet too. In fact I just saw an ad with some cute light flowy eyelet style tops. Hopefully they were womens 😉 Off to browse!

Wow that seems crazy! Those things are totally uncontrollable!

It's probably just the change to his system and he'll likely adjust. I'd say you can keep doing what you are doing and like said above, just up some of those foods that can help him get through it.
Hello! Not much going on here. This morning DS made part of his Valentine's Day gifts for our moms. They are the little Melissa & Doug stained glass hangings. One is a heart and one is a rainbow. I'm going to do a hand or foot print something with DD for them too.
I'm thinking for DH for V day I'm going to get him a new pair of swim trunks (for vacay) and if I see any cute shirts or something. Maybe just the swim trunks, we'll see. Most of his t shirts are dark colors so I would like to find a couple lighter colored summery type tees.
Do you all plan to give your kiddo something for Valentine's Day?
chocolate I got a toddler coloring book and some egg crayons, I'll stick them in a paper bag with hearts on it. That's the extent here since he can't eat candy yet. Maybe I'll make him some heart shaped maple grahams or something too.

This year nothing for V day - no older sib to wonder why and with his birthday this month I don't need an 'excuse' to get him more stuff...I did an Amazon order and ended up getting more than I'd planned but oh well, it's stuff he'll enjoy (including a slide for the summer lol - it was on sale)
H is helping a friend move. They helped us move last summer and I'm glad he's able to return the favour...but it leaves me stuck at home with just DS like during the week and weekends are usually my break from that and a chance to actually talk to an adult or two.

I'm not going to do anything for S. I'm planning to get a little box of chocolates for H.

I'm thinking I won't be getting DS anything. My mom gives him candy and a stuffed animal usually. I don't want a ton of candy around. And we have so much of everything else (craft supplies, playdoh, and any other small gift options). I just can't think of anything to get that won't be just another thing lying around the house. But I want to make holidays special too. We'll have to do something fun that evening, maybe have him help make a heart pizza or something.
The party was a success! The kids had a blast running around with their cousins (well, crawling for DS still). My older sister was able to make it down with her girls, so that was nice.
As for Valentine's day, I'm not sure what we'll get for the kids. H and I aren't too big on Valentine's day. He asked what I wanted, and I replied "chocolate... but that's what I want every day so..."
I have been invited to 3 different MLM parties in the last couple days. I'm happy for people that want to start their own business, but I don't like being hounded.

For Valentine's Day I will probably look up some themed snack/meal I can prepare for them. Then we will probably decorate some hearts to put on the wall and/or decorate some cookies. I already did this craft with DD1 because she got scissors and glue for Christmas:
I forgot to add, DH and I are planning to set up a camping mattress in the living room and light up the fireplace. We'll see what else we get up to...
Hi all! We are in VT for Christmas Hanging with my fam and about to eat too much and probably drink too much wine. L slept like absolute hell last night. And C has skipped naps two days in a row so he's kind of a terror. But it's still going well. Also, L has decided she's full on walking now. I'm not ready!

I've had 3 people on my list join Lipsense in the last week or so, it's been all the rage blowing up my feed. It's like $55 (and maybe tax and shipping?) for that stuff. 60 bucks for lip gloss?!? I can't believe how many people are buying it up like candy.

Merry christmas! 😆 DD is full on walking now too!

I keep getting people I haven't talked to in 10+ years randomly starting conversations up on facebook. They all have those businesses on their page so I'm assuming they're just making small talk before sending a sales pitch. Super annoying.

A girl I'm friends with on fb just started selling it too. She's obsessed and had actually done a couple different MLM businesses. I have her on Snapchat and all of her snaps are videos of her rubbing her finger on her lips or drinking out of a clear glass. Annoying.

That's the worst. These are at least people I'm friends with.
